The location is not easy if you like to pop out and explore. There is not too much to see. BUT the hotel do organise trips and we should have done more of these.

Wow! What an absolutely amazing hotel! We have never stayed in a place like this the rooms are incredible and the staff treat you like royalty. The best service we have ever experienced.

Firstly, there was not anything that I did not like. However, there are some things that it might be useful to know if staying here. It is a bit out of the way, but the Damai offer a free transfer to Lovina on request. The food here is expensive by Bali standards - the prices will be familiar to European diners BUT the food is superb.

I cannot praise this hotel enough. We spent about 5 nights here in a villa with a small pool. We received a complimentary massage on arrival which was a complete surprise and most welcome. The food here is superb - familiar flavours from our trip around Bali but prepared and served with refinement and innovative twists. The staff were remarkably friendly and professional - not a balance that is easy to pull off. Management were approachable, friendly and easily available.

A little far from main area. Cost of food and drinks very expensive. Fridge in room was not cold. Could not locate power points in room for hairdryer or kettle. Had to use bedside table powerpoint for these items. TV OUTDATED NO NETFLIX.

The staff were excellent. Looked after us so well. The surroundings were beautiful. Courtesy car available at all times for trips to town. Breakfast was magnificent.

Really there was nothing I didn't like. Only thing maybe needs better fridge in room didn't really get drinks to a cold temperature.

It was set in a beautiful atmosphere very calming and relaxing. I stayed in a 1bedroomed villa with pool it far out weighed my expectations.

We loved the staff, the service and the stylish and well presented facilities. The restaurant was superb and the bar offered classic as well as innovative locally influenced cocktails. Wifi was easy to connect and delivered all we wanted. The hotel also offered free shuttle cars to Lovina and excellent local excursions. We loved it, and are already discussing our next visit

Our plunge pool (Studio Lychee) was visible from the main walkway as landscaping is not fully filled in In-room safe was not programmable and required a key Extra slippery terrazzo - My partner slipped with dry, bare feet but the property’s sustainability efforts prevent them from providing disposable amenities - so bring your own indoor slippers! Plunge pool catch basin and a low concrete planter looked unfinished despite recent renovations

The food is good and shows clearly a high ambition but in our opinion overpriced. A main dish adds up to 450K IDR (incl service fee and tax), and that is not worth it, although - as said - it was good. In Sweden we pay less for more. It was for us the reason not to eat at the hotel half of the time. Good food, but overpriced.

A truly beautiful and lush oase close the Lovina, a bit located up the mountains. Restaurant and pool area by day and night very beautiful and cosy, great to relax and swim. Room was amazing, great eye for detail with flowers, a luxury experience. Yoga classes every monday and thursday. We really appreciated the free shuttle service that took us to the village at least 1-2 times per day. Best of it all, the staff. Truly warm and engaging - with us, our children and we were taken care off in all aspects. Chapeau!

The location is a bit remote so you can’t really go anywhere unless you have a car.

The pool area was very nice which turned into the dining area and an apero area with fire pits to overlook the view and watch the sunset. Dinner and breakfast were great, very good choice. The room was a reasonable size with a nice outdoor shower.

The little things make the whole difference between a pleasant stay and a memorable experience. The owner, the GM and the whole staff of this hotel were amazing. The feeling of serenity and happiness in the Damai gives long-standing wellbeing. Feels like home, but on the edge of paradise.

There isn’t much to be honest, I’d rather use this as a way of suggesting some improvements. We thought they weren’t too many options on the dinner menu, especially for someone staying for days. We’ve discussed this with the team and they mentioned that before a Covid, they used to have a lot more choice but because they prefer to source everything locally and most of the vendors changed, it takes them a bit of time to offer that diversity of choices. We also found the prices of some services high, for example the laundry. The restaurant, while very good offers similar prices to what you would see in Europe.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and forget about what’s happening out there, then stop looking. This is an amazing place, a few minutes away from Lovina Beach, yet totally secluded. We had a villa with own swimming place. The villa was specious, clean and had all the amenities. The swimming pool was amazing and the view was stunning. The staff here went above and beyond to deliver an exceptional service. They cleaned the villa twice a day. Whenever we went out, we came back to find the villa cleaned. The breakfast was fabulous with plenty of option and great coffee (which is difficult to find in Bali 😂). The dinner was as also very nice and quite original. Most of the ingredients are organic and sourced locally.

Stunning surroundings. Unfortunately, I was unable to stay the night had to leave due to an accident, which cut our stay short, but what we did see of the place and our pool Villa was magical. The staff could not have been more attentive.

The staff were very attentive and helpful! Very friendly and make you feel at home. The location is remote and serene for a very calming and peaceful stay with stunning views everywhere you look. The housecleaning is also very attentive and everyday the room gets cleaned and tidied up multiple times so you always come back to paradise. Loved the stay and would 1000% recommend a stay in this lovely resort. Will definitely be coming back to it next time we are in Bali.
