Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaSo many sounds of animals that you don't know where they are. The bathroom is so natural that you can see the sky because of no roof. Before starting your journey, make sure to bring food from Indomaret because there are no marts nearby. Unless you wanna eat from the cafe that will charge you tax as well... The road to get there is also very confusing and very small... Prepare for it.
View: I can see the Mount Agong very clear Room: acceptable but there are so many sounds of animals that I don't know where. Breakfast/Dinner: The portion is good. Can request to eat in your room

AustriaThe rooms are extremely humid (due to the jungle surroundings) meaning that all you stuff is damp in the morning. Also the conjoining rooms are only separated by an inside wooden door meaning that you can pretty much hear everything.
Excellent location and great staff. Good food served all day. It should be the perfect place, but

United KingdomAs seems to be the case everywhere in Bali, coffee isn't good. Bed was ok, but a bit old and firm. We ordered a sambol with dinner as nowhere seems to offer spicy food and it didn't come. My husband went and asked if it was coming as we had almost finished our food but they had forgotten.
It is very much as the name says! A superb view! You're very much out in nature here which is wonderful. No chance of sleep without ear plugs, but the noises of all the wildlife are just as relaxing to listen to. Staff are all pleasant. Checking out, there was no one around at all, so we waited for about 20 minutes and left the key on the desk. It's a very chilled place, lots of walking can be done, we just didn't have enough time to do it. Pool looks great too.

SingaporeNo taxi/Grab will come to you there so you're a bit dependent on the hotel transportation which means prices can go up easily. Choice of breakfast rather limited.
Great views indeed, on the rice fields and Agung. Very laid back and calm. A few nice excursions to do in the area. Restaurant is good but you probably need some change after a few days.

Amazing view on the Mount Agung and the ricefields from the Bamboo Room, which is the newest one. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Staff helpful.

AustraliaIt rained a lot while we were there so it was difficult to dry anything. A dehumidifier in the room would have been good. Also something for visitors to note is that this place is quite isolated. This suited us after coming from busy Ubud but perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea as you need a car or scoter to get to any activity or dinner out (there is a restaurant there though).
Beautiful view and pool. We stayed in the bamboo hut which was so lovely. Sitting on the balcony watching the rice fields was a highlight. So peaceful! The people who worked there also went above and beyond! We got massages at the hotel which were excellent. While there we did the sunrise Mt Batur trek, a rice field trek and white water rafting. All of these were great fun!

ItalyNothing in particular, aside from maybe the need for more sunbeds especially when the hotel has more guests.
Been here before, and i'm back for a reason. Location and view - if you're aiming to hike Batur or Agung, or simply want to stay in a secluded and unpretentious little resort with the most stunning views of Agung, this is likely the best option. Go for a room upgrade and get one with a view from your balcony. Staff - nice, genuine and and always available. Food - not the most extensive menu, but food is great all around. The pool - lovelty

AustraliaThe wifi wasn't working in the room, as it was one of the further ones.
The staff was amazing, particularly when I had to cancel my first stay due to illness. Although I only told them the day after I was meant to arrive, they still agreed to reschedule the stay at no cost. The view is incredible and it is close to ma y amazing places to visit near Sidemen.

AustraliaA bit of a damp smell on the room
The views of Mount Agung were sensational. Lush paddy fields and a sensational pool. Friendly team who taught us to make the offering baskets and could not do enough for us. The bathroom was spacious and smelt of Tuber roses - this was my favourite bathroom of the 6 hotels we stayed at

Indiathe mattress can be bit firm. Not very good for the back and neck. Also a ceiling fan would help to make the room less stuffy as we can’t open the windows after sunset. Existing fans were not very effective.
the breathtaking views of rice fields and Mt Agung made our stay so beautiful and serene. the staff is very friendly and ready to help us with all our queries. the food was customised for us as we are vegetarian. The bamboo furniture and natural stones used in the bathroom add more stars to the whole experience.
