Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIf we could stop the time.
We came over from Nusa Penida and was welcomed warmly. The sweet and genuine smile from the staff truly made our day. Unlike hotels in the US, Asia's hospitality is by far the best in the world. It was hot and the welcome drink was amazing. Wr have been around the world and at numerous hotels, nothing can beat the smiles and genuineness. Excellent location and to make things even better, hotel offers FREE shuttle to Ubud town and its surroundings. Close to major attractions, dining and shopping. Will stay again and would definitely recommend.

United States of AmericaLoved everything
The hotel is so very serene despite being just a block off the busiest part of Ubud. Great location, walk everywhere. The gardens and water features are beautifully maintained and extensive. Both pool areas gorgeous. Wonderful art, shrines and statuary everywhere. The staff is absolutely lovely, caring and efficient. We plan an extended stay as we are very happy and comfortable here. Very clean. Our room felt secluded as all the rooms are designed that way. We overlooked the rice fields with all the ducks, egrets, swifts and more. Fields were being hand harvested during our stay. Just love Green Field Hotel!

AustraliaBreakfast can be improved. Also, the first two nights in the wrong room were a bad experience. It was an old room with old furniture and a stinky and dirty bathroom that could not be used. If they had put me in the right room from the beginning, I would rate 10.
They only put me in the right room I booked for the last day, and that room is superb with the rice field view. The location is the best, where you have access to all the best restaurants, within walking distance to the Ubud centre, but still quiet with rice field views.

AustraliaVery limited selection of food in the buffet breakfast. Endless lizards but not that they were troubling us however one of the lizard ran over my foot in the reception area. The aircon wasn't cooling the room however on reporting they send someone over to check and then we got moved over to another room which was slightly bigger from our initial booking.
Superb location and nice view of the rice field from the room. Balcony was massive and the view from the balcony was priceless. Within 100meters from the hotel you will get convenience store and lots of resturants. Very good internet connection as well.

United KingdomA luggage rack for backpack or suitcases would have been helpful rather than having to use the floor or the beautiful desk!
Location is excellent, in Ubud but you would never know! Buffet breakfast with both western and Indonesian cuisine. 2 pools, towels provided. Shuttle bus (complimentary) to the Palace and if you WhatsApp the hotel, they will come and collect you. Ubud is great, loads of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Shops galore and the Monkey Forest is 5 mins walk. We booked very last minute ie the night before, and we’re not disappointed .

Very peaceful with two lovely pools. At the same time, near to good restaurants and walking distance to Ubud Palace, Monkey Park and other attractions - though they do provide transport if desired.

South KoreaThe rice fiels view was nice but there was an electric pole so if you wanna take a picture, you have to sort of aim diagonally. It was clean enough but everything needs to be updated. Including the bedding and towels. There is a small gap btw the door and the floor so I was paranoid about the bugs coming in...
The inside pool is huge and deep. It is one of the best parts about this resort. The pool next to the breakfast area was nice to look at while eating the breakfast. The buggy service was wonderful. You should use it if you're planning to stay here.

South AfricaThe staff were lovely, kind and helpful. The whole atmosphere was peaceful and restful, with views of the rice fields from the big balcony, a total contrast to the lively street a few metres away. I highly recommend Green Field Hotel.

AustraliaVery friendly staff, big room, comfy bed and good bathroom facilities. Loads of restaurants a short walk away and the hotel offers free shuttle at any time. This hotel has a small restaurant which serves tasty and quality food. We enjoy their breakfast so much and the staff goes beyond and above.

AustraliaBathroom, especially shower could be ungraded, mould and water in shower stays for a while. Dishes when served around pool areas left for long periods and bring ants.
My stay here was lovely. The grounds are serene and the staff are lovely. The rooms are a bit dated and bathrooms could be upgraded BUT it is a 3 star property and location is great, size of the rooms very large and breakfast was varied and plentiful.

IrelandOnly issue was that some insects got into our room somehow.. probably through a small crack above our door .. so I found I had to wear lots of bug spray. Other than that it was perfect for one nights stay
Receptionist was very friendly - explained the hotel to us. Some nice boys then helped us to our room with our bags, all the staff were very friendly and seemed happy to help. Place was very clean! Bathroom so spacious and bed was comfy.
