Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location close to restaurants and cafes, as well as the Main Street to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great shower with hot water.

The room was a bit musty and it was all a bit dated.
Good location , access to the pool and cheap compared to others in the area. Staff friendly.

There was no staff at the reception during the day and the number at the desk did not work.
Nice location, close to the Padang Padang beach. The room was simple but clean. There are good resturants around.

It didn't feel the cleanest. The towels had a smell and didn't look clean. The bed linen didn't feel clean either. When we went out for the day and left the sign up to have our room cleaned nobody came. We were only there for 2 nights though so that may be why.
The location was amazing, it was a really quick walk to the beach and plenty of great cafes, shops and restaurants right next to it. Our room and balcony were both quite spacious and comfortable. The aircon worked really well and was much appreciated in the hot weather.

The room was to noisy , I think was a constructure at the back. I recomend for sort stay.We change the room because in the firts the airconditioner didn't work.

The toilet seat was stuck on with double sided tape, the shower hose was leaking so very little water came out and the pool surroundings, umbrellas and deck needs some serious attention. They don't service your room and the front desk isn't manned, you have to what's app them if you need anything. Place is generally a bit tired. Also, judging from the pictures, I thought there was a restaurant, but no.
Loved the location and that the restaurants and beach are on your doorstep. Room was comfortable and clean, but nothing special.

Room was pretty basic and the bathroom needs updating badly. Bedsheets and towels provided were quite stained.
Great location next to good restaurants, staff were so helpful and nice. Pool was lovely.

Greeted with a fresh coconut whilst we waited a short time for our room to be ready. Clean and modern fixtures, very comfortable mattress. Good location not too far out of the hustle and bustle.

A mini-fridge in the room would be nice and the furniture around the pool is a bit dated, but nothing that affected our stay too much.
The location is absolutely amazing, right at the heart of Uluwatu, the pool is lovely and so it's the staff. They made sure to leave the keys somewhere we could find to access the property.

The water pressure of the shower isn't great. Sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool are not in great conditions.
The room was very comfortable and the AC worked great. Nice large private balcony. We booked this room to have a place to relax before taking a late night flight and it was great being able to jump in the pool.

Wifi was not the most reliable, but if you need to WFH there are plenty of cafes nearby.
Comfortable and clean rooms. Great location near Penang Beach and many restaurants and cafes. Pool is great. Beds are good. Manager was very friendly and helpful. He even offered scooter lessons!

The walls in the hallway are full of mold and the bathroom stinks a little moldy as well, so you want to keep the bathroom door open after showering to get some air ventilation.
The rooms are big, especially the balcony. The pool is nice, although we didn't use it. The location is perfect - close to shops and restaurants and walking distance from Padang Padang Beach.
