We’ve stayed at this property once before and everything about our stay from check in to check out was just about perfect. The property itself is nestled in the forests of Ubud and is completely cut off from the hustle and bustle of the city. All the staff took care of every little detail, they even made Bubur Injin (black rice pudding) that wasn’t on the menu. The SPA services were excellent. All the staff came to see us off on the day we were checking out. Would definitely go back there 😊

We would have liked a few snack items in the mini bar like some chips, chocolate, nuts. We also would like milk for tea/coffee in a jug in the fridge, it was easy to ask for some but would prefer it in the room.

Stunning hotel and grounds with incredible jungle valley views, the artisanal qualities in the Komaneka brand give it a special feeling. It is a mature hotel and we love the qualities that brings. Room was super comfy and stylish. Staff are incredible - warm, friendly, professional, humble and kind.

I feel like the price per night was too high for what it has to offer. The property is in need of renovation. A few of the things did not work properly, though they were fixed / replaced fast once I reported them. Breakfast needs more diversity of dishes.

The staff is amazing. Communication was great, they use Whatsapp and that helps a lot. They are also proactive, always asked where to bring the stuff we ordered via Grab. Location is really nice, it has an amazing view of nature. We enjoyed the private pool. The large pool is also nice, it has a great view of the forest. I liked that they have an Apple TV, it was very easy to put our own things on TV.

It would have been good to see the same level of service at the swimming pool. The second pool, away from the restaurant didn’t have anyone come down to check on your or offer drinks. It wasn’t bad - just not the same in comparison to the rest of the property.

Komaneka is a hidden gem, out of the hustle and bustle of centra ubud. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The levels of service throughout the stay were great. It was the little things that made it a good property - the seamless housekeeping twice a day, the refilling of water, the free shuttle in and out of town.

The only drawback was that the private pool/courtyard was placed somehow between some large trees and another tall building and during the day we only got like 2-3 hours of sun. Because of this the water from the pool was a bit cold, but it is not a factor to reduce the score of the property.

I booked 5 nights here and everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the cleaning was outstanding and the communication was flawless. The restaurant is excellent. It was the perfect place to start our honeymoon. Totally recommend.

Yes there are a few bugs and animals etc, really didn’t bother us tho and staff are more than happy to help. If you are the kind of person that will complain at the sound of the jungle keeping you awake… this might not be for you….. but Bali is probably not for you either.

Starting from our transfer at the airport all the way to leaving Komaneka Tangguyuda, everything was PERFECT! We had a pool villa, it was amazing and every little detail considered, even down to some anti mosquito spray for us and the room. The room was turned over up to 3 times a day, it was kept very clean, and there were real nice touches such as setting bed for day and evening. The Restaurant was great, breakfast also very good. Pools were stunning, make sure you venture further down to find the newest infinity pool as it’s to die for. But the thing that makes this hotel outshine all of the others in Ubud, is the staff. They are amazing, and so organised, everything happiness in the background you are never disturbed and they really care about your happiness and well being. We had the best start to our Bali Honeymoon here and will definitely come back.

The speed of food delivery at the restaurant. It was a bit slow.

The villa was outstanding. The service at the highest level possible. We also want to recommend Kade who introduced us to the facilities. She was excellent!!!
