A bit of a strange smell in the villas. I note air fresheners were being used. May have been because the room was closed as aircon was on. Could have been a natural smell from the thatch roof

The area is very quiet which was exactly what I wanted but if you want lots of cafes and spas around then either rent a bike or maybe not the right spot for you. grab and gojek aren’t allowed to wait around the area and the organised transit is quite a bit more expensive.

PARADISE!!! Beautiful grounds, beautiful, clean private beach, good food, atmosphere, soul… everything is thought of in the bungalows (insect spray plus anti insect plug-ins, beautiful cosy lighting plus reading lights, nice seating). The staff were insanely helpful and kind and I felt so welcome and at home! this was my favourite accommodation on Bali! If you want a quiet, calm peaceful paradise, this is it!

The are not many nice beaches in this area and also it is far away from other restaurants and city. It is an area for relax.

There is air con in the room but it really didn’t seem powerful enough. If you order a grab you will have to walk to meet them as they aren’t allowed up to the hotel due to some local taxi rules

The two bungalows we booked were the furthest away from each other. Also, the insulation of the rooms is not excellent and one can hear the neighbours. Breakfast options were good but limited.

The property had a great cliff view over the sea. The bungalows had a natural feel to them with semi-outdoor showers. The breakfast place by the pool was charming. Service was really good.

Milos Home was a wonderful experience. We arrived totally exhausted and the staff gave us such a warm welcome, providing us an early check in and a perfect healthy and tasty breakfast. The food in general was very good and with fresh ingredients. We had the vila with the sea view and we didn’t get disappointed. The view is amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They gave us great recommendations for beaches and restaurants. We took a transport from Milo’s but also a grab, it was both easy. Sometimes the grab driver wants you to walk to the next big street which is a 5 min walk, so all good. We had an amazing experience and would surely come back.

- There are some sharp volcanic rock formations at the beach which make it hard to swim for inexperienced swimmers - On the road to the accomodations, there are signs that online taxis like Grab are not allowed. This is because there is a taxi location closeby that charges higher prices - Other restaurants or also supermarkets are hard to get to by walking

There really isn’t much bad to say. If you want to be close to shops, bars, spa’s etc, then this may not be the place for you as it’s pretty remote. The cooking of some of the dishes could be better. The selection and taste is good though. In my personal opinion, this hotel would also be elevated just a bit if it were an adults-only hotel as kids take up a lot of the space and make a lot of noise and the common areas are not big. So it ruins the zen feeling that this hotel has.

This was my second time staying here and it’s my favourite hotel ever! The view is amazing, the bungalows are clean and spacious and look exactly like they do in the pictures. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and the upgrade of the restaurant- and pool area since my last visit just makes it that more picturesque and comfortable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and contributed to the wonderful feeling of this hotel. Also, you can have your water bottle refilled as much as you want which is a great added service.

Not much. Just the restaurant is a bit pricey having stayed in Bali for 10 days already and knowing the prices of different hotels.

The stay was great, we really did enjoy it. Beatufiul bungalows with a great pool. The personal is so nice and helpful. We were allowed to stay after our check-out and still use the hotel facilities, which we appreciated hugely. The hotel has an access to private beach, which seems very nice. However, at the time of our stay, it was polluted with trash unfortunately, but that´s a common things around beaches around this area.

Accommodation not sound proof, there were roaming dogs in front the reception constantly barking multiple times during the night which woke us up every time as it was loud and very close to our house.

We got upgraded to an ocean view room and could look out to the sea from the bed. That's special. Staff were lovely, the banana pancakes were excellent and the gardens so well looked-after. Access to a private beach is a workout but very worth it!

This place has an amazing location. Private beach, and pool/restaurant overlooking the ocean. For a drink you can enjoy the pool belonging to the neighbouring hotel. We recommend eating lunch at least once in the hotel next door which has an even more amazing view!
