Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Family-owned guesthouse with staff who care and respond quickly to requests. Excellent swimming pool in delightful garden setting. Comfortable bed, spacious room, good breakfast, good value. Location - quiet and peaceful, but the flip side is that it's about a 15 or 20 minute walk into the center of Ubud. Quick if you have a moto, though. Mr. Gunadi is a gracious host and a good manager.

ArgentinaA kettle in the room would be nice.
walking distance from Ubud center but far enough from the noise. You will only hear the jungle noises at night. The room are really nice a well equipped. The shower is not cold and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast is really complete and tasty.

PolandIt's not a big deal but to the city center you need to go circa 10-15minutes. If we would stay even longer the breakfasts could become a bit boring
Very cozy place. We extended my stay from 3 to 5 nights what normaly not happens by us but we felt there like at home. The personel there is just amazing. Breakfast very good. Fully recomended

AustraliaWe loved staying here.
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nyoman Sandi Guesthouse has a very lovely feel. The beds were comfy and clean, the rooms spacious, breakfast delicious, the pool clean, and garden delightful, staff and family very accommodating and friendly. Quiet location, yet close walk to central Ubud attractions. We had such an exceptional time in Ubud. One nearby gem is the free rice terrace walking circuit that links the Sweet Orange Walk with the Sari Organic Walk. We also enjoyed the Art Museum, Monkey Sanctuary, tubing on Pakerisan River, tour of bamboo houses at Green Village, Tegalalang Rice Terraces, shopping and local restaurants.

United KingdomTo be honest, the rooms and bathrooms need some refurbishment. However, it was not a problem for us and we loved our stay here
We booked it at last minute and we enjoyed our stay here. The customer service is top, the swimming pool is amazing and the breakfast in our terrace in the morning was an enjoyable experience. It is located a bit outside Ubud but to be honest, it is a walkway distance and it is even better if you have rented a scooter so you do not need to cross Ubud to explore the surroundings.

This place is lovely! Beautiful garden with the pool right in front of our room, staff very nice and helpful, they also arranged a private driver for us. Breakfast was super good, could choose from 3 options. The room was clean, and the owner provided electric machine against mosquitos, which we appreciated. Everything what we needed was nearby and Ubud centre was just 1km far. We would definitely stay again.

LithuaniaIt is a bit updated, but it's great price. We can't complain really. :)
Private, amazing surroundings, close to the city centre by foot, we could rent a scooter from the owners which was very convenient, every day selection of breakfast that is brought to you to your patio, access to the pool! We are so happy! Every evening mosquitoes repellent candle was brought plus for inside some electronic repellent. Staff was lovely, always smiling! Room cleaning was done every day.

AustraliaIt would be helpful if they had some double adapters in the rooms.
The staff are very friendly, attentive and efficient. Wonderful ambience with grass, shrubs and shrines. And the swimming pool is long enough to do laps. The rooms are a good size and have air conditioning. Having a fridge is great for a constant supply of cold water. You can order your breakfast for a different time each day depending on your plans. The wifi is strong. In my test it was up to 89Mb/s. Better than in my home in Australia!

Spacious and luxurious rooms at a competitive price, this is the ideal place to base Ubud adventures. Property is perfectly maintained, embodies Balinese culture, and the staff goes above and beyond. It’s a short drive from the heart of town but still feels quiet and hidden away. Gunadi and his family/staff are always available to help and will assure you have a memorable stay. This truly is a diamond among guesthouses. Bonus, breakfast is fantastic! I liked it so much I came back a second time.

GermanyNothing, I really enjoyed my stay
The athomasphere at the family-owned Nyoman is unbeatable. The serenity, yet attentiveness of staff made it one of the best places I have ever stayed in. No request was ever too much of a bother (they even sewed a button for me). I appreciate when staff of hospitality actually make you feel welcomed and that is what they do here: they always greet you with a smile, they tutn on the lights for you so that you get a homey feeling when you return from your day trips, they prepare delicious breakfast and are always around. The rooms/houses are super spacious, big bathroom, very comfy beds and come with everything you need. Now, I have to say that the locationis not right in the town center which was okay for me because I had a scooter and could drive down the hill jn just three minutes. It is located next to a rice field so this and being away from the main traffic of Ubud gives you peaceful nature sounds for the night :)

LatviaThe room shows signs of wear and needs some refreshment. The property is a bit away from the center and you will need some wheels to be flexible. The water in the sink does not go away. For some reason they always bring the dishes for breakfast on your terrace at 7 am even if you asked for breakfast to be served at 8 am. Bearing in mind that the glass doors to the room are thin and right in the front of the terrace this practice is quite disturbing. Also, it is quite a pressure that they want to know at what time exactly you will need breakfast next morning and when you are ready by that time they might be late with serving anyway 😅
The guesthouse, the room, and pool area were immaculately clean. The bed was comfy and the shower was separated from the toilet, which is not always the case in Indonesia. The property is very quiet and the whole vibe is calm. The pool is also very nice and clean. We extended our stay from the initial 2 to 5 nights. There are 3 options of breakfast to choose from but as almost everywhere in Indonesia in quite a limited quantity. The options are Continental, American and Indonesian. We recommend to take the Indonesian one as it was the most filling and tasty one. The owner gave us his scooter to go to the Monkey forest so that we don't have to deal with scooter rent on our last day of stay there (before that we rented our own scooter).
