Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SerbiaIf you want to be in the center of Ubud this is the best location. Keep in mind that this is a room in a shared yard. Around you, you will have hosts guests, and neighbors so it's not so isolated or private.

BelgiumWe rented a scooter via Purnama house which was more expensive than “on the street” - not that I typically mind as I want to support my stay - but the scooter was in a pretty bad shape. (Not working highest gear, not working speedometer, …). They also forgot to include the scooter documents which could ended up in a fine.
Fantastic room on a great location. Everything super clean. Super value with the included breakfast. Balcony is also a lot of fun to relax after a full day.

Antique room with antique furniture, and very traditional style. Room is big with high ceiling and warm shower. Located in the busiest area and in the morning and at night is too noisy. Mattress is not very comfortable and room looks not quite clean enough, but anyway worth the cost. Very nice breakfast and coffee.

The room is good side for single traveler. Good air conditioning and hot shower. Close to the Ubud Center. Can walk to many restaurants and Monkey forest. The owner and employees are super friendly. I’ll go back to stay again.

I arrived early. very early. no problem, instant coffee. taken to room. super clean. I struggle how anyone could say the place has trouble with any cleaning. 100% clean. breakfast included. home made banana pancakes fruit sauce, fresh fruits coffee. deeeelicious! Nothing, I mean nothing was too much trouble. Did the air con work? did it? Goodness, it worked! My room was cleaned perfectly, fresh towels every day. lady who runs the show asked on every occasion if it was ok for room to be cleaned whilst I was out. I had a little terrace, timber lounge bed, soft mattress, few pillows happily sat there, drank coffee. no issues with noise….. not a single problem. now, after all of that this is not “5 star luxury”…….. it’s not 5 star luxury prices. fan accommodation, fab food, fab people, fab price 100% I’ll return.
