No drinking water available, not in the the room nor in the office ! The staff hardly spoke English and were not very helpful with finding e.g. cycling bikes.

No noise from the city, no noise from other guests. Swimming pool was nice to fresh up. Kitchenette was nice but lacked pots and pans.

Breakfast was served at rooms in takeaway containers. Eating area not very good. Had to ask for room to be serviced.

Nothing really. For the price it was good and I'll stay again. However, booking.com should put in LARGE letters you have to pay at hotel desk

it had cooking facilities on the verandah. Great to be able to cook for yourself after weeks on the road. Beds and pillows good, nice hot water no bathroom smells . Even a pool if one is so inclined

no staff on site to check in. Had to assist anyone that arrived to try and contact the staff for check in. Had no card facilities and was cash only. staff banged on door at 11:30 pm when we were asleep demanding payment

My first room was dirty, smelled very bad but the boss give me an other room was better but sincerely to expensive for a room like this in sanur. I killed cockroach every night. Too bad because with a bit of maintenance the rooms can be very nice . (Please pull out the carpet from the wall, it’s a good solution in humide country)

The localisation is nice and quiet . The owner answer quickly to my problem .

Humidity in the room and bathroom, it smelled pretty bad. The first night I didn’t sleep well at all, the other nights were better because I ventilated the room as much as possible

Very run down , old and unclean. Broken pool tiles, broken and unusable sun beds that belong in the rubbish, pool shower unusable due a garden hose poorly fitted to the water outlet presumably to water plants etc ,and large rubbish bin was stored in the shower. Bar fridge was filthy and dirty inside , toilet is filthy and disgusting as was the shower with poor water pressure, aircon stank of mould . Photos online are deceiving and do not show the current state of the property..possibly taken when the place was brand new 10 years ago. Female staff member was polite but the male staff members were rude grumpy and abrupt.

Room smelt terrible and air on was not cold enough. I wanted to have food open, but it wasn’t practical. For this price range in area I would also expect better towels, sheets and working air con. When I raised this with staff the following morning they offered no real explaination as to why they would charge a higher price, when most home stays in area are less cost… I arrived late and would’ve checked out and found alternate accom otherwise.

Location was good walking distance and had outdoor cooking facilities for guests if required.

Everything. Unfortunately this stay was really really disappointing. The accommodation did not look like the photos online. I am not sure how old the photos are but the property is not in a good state. Everything needs a seriously deep clean. We actually almost left, and battled to spend one night in the room we booked. Everything is dirty, and hasn’t been cleaned properly. The bins in the kitchen area were black with mold and dirt. The toilet paper holder has dirt and stains all over it. There were marks by the light switch. The room itself was really dirty. The head boards had terrible stains on them, the sheets were stained and the bedding and curtains were stained badly. We didn’t even want to sleep in the bed. The kettle was rusted and really dirty as well, we didn’t use it. The entire room was dirty, dusty and sticky. And did not have the same look and feel as the photos posted online. I highly suggest that someone deep cleans the entire property, even the entrance office doesn’t look anything like the photos anymore. It felt more like a short term - long term place for people to stay, not like a guesthouse at all. It was very uncomfortable to stay here and we won’t be back. Very disappointing, we love Bali and we’ve stayed in so many amazing places, but this was not one of them. Sad to say.

There is a beautiful coffee shop, next door that you can work and visit.

the sheets and bed weee covered in stains and the fan and AC didn’t work so was sweating all night long. the key got jammed in the door, so couldn’t lock it overnight

Avoid this place, it looks nothing like the photos on booking.com Run down place, smelly rooms, wobbly chairs, one of the pillows stank of sweat, pool lounges disintegrating etc. everything seems to be well past its heyday. It looks like a local kost, with most (local) guests living there long term . Definitely not a relaxing place to stay. I left after 1 night.

We stayed for 2 weeks and decided to check out a day earlier. We told the staff we were checking out later the afternoon but when we arrived back at the guesthouse they had moved all of our luggage out and we ended up waiting with our bags in the heat with a baby, while trying to arrange a car. It felt as if they had put us out on the street, even though we paid for an extra day!
