The older twin room on the ground floor, is dated, change the lighting to a more modern ,will completely change it i think.

Location is super, you could take a becak if it's too hot to the malioboro or other tourist attraction. Staff in the restaurant are very good, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast

My parents were really pleasantly surprised and they were very happy.

For breakfast we missed just a better selection of fresh fruits in this country of so many nice fruits and a fresh juice instead of instant juice. Anything else was very good.

The room was nice big with a comfortable bed and we had a view to the pool and the Merapi. My kid loved the pool. For breakfast there is good selection of indoneisan tasty food like Soto, gudeg, rice, vegetables, etc. For western food used touris you can get fresh prepared omelet and there is white bread with jam. But you should try the indonesian food :) It is more tasty. The personal is very friendly and the room was cleaned everyday. The hotel is located in a small quiet street just 10 min to walk to Jalan Malioboro and about 20 min to Kraton and Sultans Palace. But there is always a becak (Mototaxi) with fixed prices in front of the hotel. I recommend this hotel for families and people who want to stay in a quiet place but central enough to the touristic busy center of Jogjakarta.

There were a couple of aspects that fell short of expectations. One notable drawback was the internet connection. Unfortunately, it was unreliable and inconsistent, which made it difficult to stay connected and take care of important online tasks. This issue may have been an inconvenience for business travellers or guests who rely heavily on a stable internet connection. Another area that could be improved is the breakfast options. While the breakfast offered at Emersia Hotel Malioboro was satisfactory, it lacked a variety of Western choices. Having a wider selection would cater to guests with different dietary preferences and ensure a more inclusive dining experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Emersia Hotel Malioboro and overall, it was a memorable experience. The manager, Mr. Amir, went above and beyond to make our stay special by surprising us with honeymoon decorations and a delicious cake. The room itself was comfortable and provided a pleasant ambiance for our stay. The hotel's service was commendable, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
