This property is perfect for a couple of solo traveller looking for a more relaxing and quiet Bali experience. The layout is perfect, two nice sized rooms looking out at a courtyard with a dipping pool. Staff were excellent at all times. Just a few minutes walk away are all the cafes, restaurants and shops you need, plus access to Sanur beach. There is a good gym a short taxi ride away. Ubud and beautiful scenery is only 45 mins away, avoiding the hassle of driving through Kuta and Seminyak. One of the better places I have booked through booking.com

The Doona was too hot to use , a cotton blanket would have helped. Pool area very stark and needed some greenery, the 3 plants all needed water. No curtain in lounge room so couldn't watch TV because of the glare coming in through windows.

Breakfast was not offered.Great location, very quiet and peaceful.

Tucked away in a small side street but within walking distance to the main shops and about 15-20 minutes to the beach. Very quiet. Had everything we needed. Bonus was our own pool and totally private courtyard.

The mosquitoes were a real problem for us. Although it was the dry season, it rained during our stay and the wind was from the south which drove them up from the mangrove swamps. Towels very old and stained.

Comfortable and quiet. The staff sprayed our room for mosquitoes and also left us a can of spray but this still didn't control them. Good WIFI during the day but very slow in the evening. Kitchen well supplied. Helpful staff; always available.

I do like to cook on holiday. The apartment had 2 gas burners. There were limited pots and pans to use for cooking. There was only 1 very large pot, 1 small pot and a small frying pan. Only 3 cooking utensils were provided. I think because local food is very inexpensive, most visitors don’t want to cook. This was a very minor issue as there are so many good restaurant options a short walk away from the apartments.

The property was well located and very comfortable. Dewi and her team were very helpful and always happy to assist with any questions or to organise drivers. The apartment was also very quiet and very private. The beach, shops and restaurants were around 10 minutes walk away. There were also several laundries where you could leave your laundry 1 day and collect it the next all for a small cost.

The only drawback is a missing mosquito net over the bed, we would get a little bitten.

Our stay here was great! The apartment is super cut and has everything you need, fridge, kitchenette, a cozy couch and a large TV with free Netflix (unfortunately no German). Bathroom and shower are separate, which is very nice and the shower has a direct door to the pool! The pool area is also great, with a table and chairs and a large lounger, here it can be held out! There is also a safe and plug adapters. There are towels without end (for showering, for the hands, for the pool, etc.). At the room service all towels are changed and also always two bottles of water refilled. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We would book it again and again!

Not a big deal, but moveable sunbeds outside would be nice, to be able to follow / avoid the sun, instead of 1 fixed sofabed

Staff were extremely helpful, but not intrusive. Very clean, well equipped apartment & pool. 10 mins walk to main street, 15 mins max to boardwalk / beach. Little touches like toaster, ice cube tray, cotton buds, adaptors etc very appreciated. Several lovely warungs just minutes away.

It is unfortunate, but the staff, whilst great, woke us up every morning about 6:30 am due to the noise they created just by saying hello to each other or getting their equipment out ready for the day. There was one occasion where a male staff member knocked on our door to give us an extra sheet we requested and then opened the door, and my wife was naked in the living room - she was mortified. We would go back but they need to be mindful of personal privacy and respect the fact their guests are on holiday and don’t need an early wake up It was no point raising these issues at the time as their comprehension of what we were saying on other occasions, meant they would not understand.

This is our second time at Smat Comfort. It is close to the beach and all the restaurants in Sanur. Sanur is not crowded it’s a very relaxed vibe. The property was in good order and the staff were very attentive. Pool was excellent.
