Afternoon tea allowed only one cup of tea or coffee. If another was requested then there was a charge. Different from breakfast where you could have as many as you liked. Also, no glasses of wine available at dinner, only bottles. The beach was disappointing - lots of seaweed and debris and not suitable for swimming.

Great villas with wonderful pools at the villa and in the shared area. The staff were exceptional.

Water sports dominate the beach - not a hotel problem but do expect jet skis, boats etc as a constant The room has little privacy around the pool - again a catch 22 as the beautiful view is the reason passers by can see in

Does not have a gym Benoa is North of the Nusa Dua landscaped resort area, so the road immediately outside resort has more local stores, vacant buildings, rubbish along beach (where there are no resorts). However, this also allows for more local vibe and it's easy to reach all areas along Nusa Dua with the free resort driver service.

Stunning, spacious villas within a private complex of only 20 villas, gorgeous gardens and right on the beach. High quality finishes throughout. Perfect for romantic escape. Very good A la carte breakfast selection/drinks. Fabulous central infinity pool, although most time spent using large private pool in villa. Nice touches e.g. afternoon tea/cakes included, little notes written on leaves, free mini-bar Staff are super friendly and attentive

Swimming in the sea is not possible, algae on the shore. You have to go to the beach 100m further where the seaweed is removed by the staff every day at low tide from the sea. It's a shame that the hotel manager probably doesn't consider this important. But he should realize that Europeans come to Bali to swim in the sea.

Not a biggie, but… The bathroom faucets - sink, shower are quite worn out . Maybe it’s time to replace them. Otherwise they are working, no problem. But it steals a bit of the magic of the entire room.

It’s an amazing property. The villas are beautiful, huge, super private. The furniture inside the room is splendid, though wear signs can be seen, it was not a problem - had a vintage-like air. There bathroom area is fabulous with the open space shower, no insects, maybe a few mosquitoes. The public areas of the resort are wonderful, so beautifully designed. The attention to detail is there definitely!

On the eastern side of Nusa Dua and the beaches are nicer elsewhere in Bali at low tide - high tide is fine - but the site made up for it in all ways.

Excellent staff, beautiful rooms, great pool, wonderful site. Very clean, well maintained and everything works very nicely. Very good Wi-Fi. Nothing was too much trouble and the shuttle service is really great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay at "The Royal Santrian"! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The bespoke welcome, attention to detail in the villa was remarkable – plush amenities, breathtaking views, and a level of cleanliness that exceeded our expectations. The manager Restu and the staff (especially Resdi) went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, the professional SPA was amazing and the dining experience was a delight with a wide array of exquisite dishes. Highly recommend this exceptional hotel for an unforgettable romantic experience!

- They should take care of the pool/beach area more and make it more entertaining. They have only 8 sunbeds on the beach, with no waiter to serve guests there and no music, too calm a bit boring. Also the tide really affects that area badly, water is too shallow and around 3 pm the beach will turn to sand. For the pool, a waiter is available but no music (you hear a little from the restaurant).

It's an absolutely beautiful resort, restaurants serves very delicious food, service is top-notch and quick, staff are well trained and super kind and welcoming, rooms are above expectations, spa is good. If you are looking for a place to chill and quiet, this is it. They should consider hiring a new photographer because posted pictures does not show the beauty of this property or the rooms.

Our flight was at 1am the nigh following our check out. We were hoping we could stay in our room until that time, btu were unable too. The staff did accommodate us to use one of their make up rooms before we headed out so at least that helped us to get refreshed.

Very nice staff and property. Infinity pool was great, villas with private pool were awesome. We mostly stayed in our property. Kitchen was very good, especially the sushi bar.

Without a doubt the best hotel we've stayed at. The place is heavenly, private, and seeing the sunrise from our beachfront villa was a once if a lifetime experience. But the staff and the service they provide is the true real gem! They were exceptional, and the service they provided was perfect and heavily personalized. The Front Office Manager Suardi, who we consider a friend now, was so helpful, friendly and caring. We had an issue in our room but it was quickly fixed. They apologized and offered us some compensation for the trouble. The "local menu" at the restaurant was also excellent! Of course it is more expensive than local restaurants outside Nusa Dua but still very affordable and so good! The only little negative point is that unfortunately we came at a time when there were a lot of algae in the water so we could not swim in the sea water. Since all villas come with a pool it was not a huge pain point for us. I recommend that you order a shisha and enjoy it at the beachfront restaurant or at your villa while sipping on a royal tea or a cocktail ;) Long story short, we cannot wait to come back.
