Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeAs one would expect, this place is indeed hidden. The access is a narrow path, blink and you miss it. Which happens a lot for the taxi drivers..,
The hotel is very quiet, a little away from the very busy road.

AustraliaI think there's development or something happening in the field behind as there were trucks there at 12am-2am on a sat and sun night. But otherwise was so quiet. Staff only there until a certain time, at night we didn't see anyone, and there was no food or refreshments on site after breakfast (or that we were made aware of). But some local restaurants around and a mini mart not far. About 15 to 30 min walk to ubud centre depending on where you are. Tv had WiFi but we couldn't get anything to work apart from the first night when we could put YouTube on for the kids in the few hrs before dinner.
It was great value, its a small hotel hidden away from the main road with views over the river fields. Lovely little pool, staff were lovely and accommodating to our kids and a nanny we had for my little son. Loved the unique yone housing, the bathrooms were great, lots of hot water, air con was great at night. We adored the chicken couple who roamed around and rooster in the tree at night. Free filtered water and nice breakfasts. Just be aware as you are in a yone house, there are mosquitos (hence the nets on the bed) and geckos live in the roof, so you might get some gecko poo on the floor but this didn't bother us, just added to the rustic charm. We had the 3rd villa which was perfect for a family of 4. I'd recommend a scooter to get around (which they rent from the villa) or organise tours as its hot to walk to ubud and no real pavements). Minimart and bigger supermarkets not far. We ate at local padang, or got takeaway indonesian style as ubud expensive to eat.

NetherlandsGoogle map does not show exact entrance. You need to walk 10-15 meters more to find the small entrance path to the villa. Although it is very peaceful, sometimes you can fell alone, especially at nights, because no stuff stays there at nights.
It is a really hidden gem in Ubud. You access via small path in between buildings then you see this nice place. The villa was big. It has a big bathroom with two lavatories. You share the garden and pool with couple of other villas. Generally the pool was empty and it feels like you have your own pool. Breakfasts are served daily as per your choice to your place.

AustraliaLots of bugs & crawlies but that’s how life is up there, you are sharing with nature! So not a dislike to the property, just a comment for future guests, as to wha to expect! The property does supply bug cream repellent & mosquito coils which is great

AustraliaFinding the place is bit challenging as it is behind the shops however if you call the resort staff will come out to help you. Bigger signboard at the main road will help.
Close to ubud centre with nice views of rice fields. Staff is super helpful and always have smile on the face.

IndonesiaOnly minor one, the TV couldn't be used when we stayed there. But that's okay, we still enjoy our stay anyway.
I love the quiet and peaceful environment, lovely bungalow with good taste of art, the strategic location, the hospitality of the staff, very nice and helpful owner, and the simple yet yummy breakfast that they set like fine dining.

IndiaA few more fans or another AC in the family room would be appropriate..... otherwise it was perfect...
The place had a very relaxing aura away from the busy Ubud buzz. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, ever willing to help. Although it's a 10 min walk away from the city centre it's totally worth it.

PhilippinesThe villa had an air conditioner but it wasn't enough because it gets very hot at the second floor. There are also spaces/little openings which prevents from locking in the cold air.

NetherlandsI never actually give negative criticism, but I would like to inform fellow travelers. This accommodation is completely outdated, tired and has lost its energy. Don't be fooled by the photos and there are no rice fields either. Everything you see is old, dirty and worn out. Indoors and outdoors. Broken, holes in it and with (mold) stains. It's very sad for the staff, but this accommodation was probably very nice in 1980, but unfortunately no longer of this time...
Friendly staff (they probably can't change anything and do their best...) and villas that were probably very nice in the 1980s... were…
