The place is really beautiful. And the hostess is amazing person and very humble. The rooms are very very neat and so was the pool. They have their own scooter rental, and the place is nearby to most of the services.

The staff was really nice, polite and making us felt at home. they been helping us on a lot of things. You have just to ask and they will help you.

Would have liked if we had a bathroom freshner.

The place is clean and cozy. Main market is 5mins ride. Monkey forest is just 3kms. Waterfall is also just 30mins. Big rooms. The staff is very kind, they'll help you with 2 wheeler rent, booking for trekking and other activities. The owner is also very hospitable.

Bathroom had lots of small ledges on the floor, were a bit of a trip hazard (especially at night!)

All good.

Very friendly family business. They helped us rent a motorbike during our stay with them. We extended our stay to enjoy the peace and quiet of the place for 2 more days. Definitely recommend.

We really liked the hospitality. The staff/owner helped us a lot with the Ubud tour and the tours to Nusa Penida and Gili Triwanga and the night trek to Mount Batur.

The bathroom was a little dirty, but nothing too bad.

The rooms where very spacious, the pool was awesome and we felt very comfortable in this hotel in total!

It was a serene location. A very clean property. The approach is clean as well. There is a owls nest home just do mins walking from the property. It has a small garden and an well known artist. You can meet him as well.

I absolutely loved my stay in Villa Sekembang, the facilities are lovely with a beautiful pool and rice field you can see from your rooms and seats outside the rooms to sit and enjoy. Bella my host was so lovely and was always there on whatsapp if I needed anything, I did not do the breakfast as I would go to Yoga most mornings but other people staying looked like they enjoyed it! The family and workers of the villa were always so smiley and lovely to have small conversations too, with Bella also owning a beautiful new little pup which was always nice to come back to the Villa and see :) The rooms are large with lots of space and the beds are so comfortable, I will definitely come back with my girlfriend one day to enjoy the serenity. I used it as a time to get out of the city a bit and enjoy the relaxation but is cheap with a grab or your own personal bike to get into the busy streets and action of Ubud.

Bathroom was very old, not maintained nor clean. No hot water 3/4 showers we had. Noisy heat pump and not walking distance to town.

Scooter hire was available at the property.

There was no drinking water available for entire 48 hours. Contact with staff took very long. Pillow covers and bedsheets were covered with strong odour perfume smell which resulted in giving me and my wife cough.

I like the staff first of all. Very nice and polite, fixed our problem with shower very quickly. Room is big and opened, all in windows around, very cozy and nice. Also rented a very nice scooter.

It's all extremely old. Curtains was so dirty! No toilet brush or additional water tap. An old toothpaste was on the drawer under the sink, the shelf was falling off

The room were very dirty when we arrived, there was shoe mark in both of the towel they provided. We asked if they can clean and change the towel, but they say the cleaners are all gone and promised to clean in the AM, however it was not happening the next day. They said that they have parking on the spot, but it was more like a street parking, the villa is located around 100m away from the mainstreet and only can be accessed by motorbike.

our room was so dirty. normally i dont really mind if its not the cleanest, but this time i was almost about to leave. we had stains on the bed and hair on the bed as well (that wasnt ours haha) the bathroom was just not it. he did clean our bed the minute we told him about it. and as he was cleaning he said the cleaners probably skipped this room. it can use just one big cleanup

The facility is maintained unsufficiently, our room was much more used, than the photos made us believe. Staff members barely spoke english. The swimmingpool filtration was scarcely switched on, so we didnt use the pool. Very noisy air-conditioning.

The advert photos didn’t look the same in reality. The shower is located before the toilet and everytime you go to the toilet you’re stepping in the wet floor as you have to go to the shower area first. Twice I tripped in the bathroom floor as there’s approx 2 inches difference between where the sink is and the shower. The main door needs maneuvering to close properly. The toilet could use some bleach really
