Only think. Which didn't really affect us was no lift available, so may be a problem if you have mobility issues

What a gem of a place this is. We travelled over from the UK. To watch football at the Aviva stadium. From the moment we arrived it was fabulous. Complementary tea and coffee and home made cake in the fabulous drawing room , friendly smartly presented staff, a fantastic family room with the most comfy beds I ever slept on. The room was quiet and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was superb , home made granola, freshly cooked hot food and top service. We only stayed one night but we certainly will return. Highly highly recommend

    Nothing-it was perfect

It was lovely to sit in the Drawing Room after a day of sightseeing in Dublin. My teen daughter played chess with my husband while I read. It was like staying with a friend. The breakfast in the Conservatory was the best breakfast we have ever had while traveling! The staff were helpful, and we absolutely loved our stay.

    It was all perfect

Breakfast is outstanding. There are at least two excellent restaurants nearby that the staff can tell you about (Chop House and Rolys Bistro). Staff also quickly made reservations at a restaurant closer to the center of town that was great (Tracadaro). The location of Ariel House is outside the heart of things by about a 20 minute easy walk. It is very close to the tram which is easy but was out of service for two of the 3 days of our stay. There are nearby buses and these were also easy to take. Dublin is walkable and it was good for me to be in a beautiful quieter part of town.

didn't love the shower set up with a short piece of glass on the tub and it was a little chilly but such a minor thing

beautiful decor, comfortable room, excellent beds, wonderful breakfast, easy to get to, staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We got in very late unfortunately but the staff was wonderful and the late checkout was really helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely go back.

    • Deluxe Triple Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

We had a family room with one double and one single bed but I found that the double bed was too small for two The bathroom was the only part of the hotel that felt outdated; I would have loved a handshower and some space next to the sink to put our stuff.

The decoration and style of this beautiful Victorian townhouse Spending time in the elegant drawing room where complimentary coffee/tee and treats were offered The breakfast variety, service and stunning location The bedroom was elegant and fully equipped with a comfortable desk and big wardrobe

The noise in the room due to someone walking on the upper floor. The placement of the television in second room meant it was practically not possible to watch it.

overall ambience, friendly staff. liked the lounge area that offered a very relaxing atmosphere, incl. possibility to have coffee, cookies, cakes, drinks and even play card games and chess.
