Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaHate to bring it up but there was no toilet brush.
I liked the old style class of the place, must have been pretty classy in its day, lots of polished wood everywhere. Drink and meal prices were reasonable. And breakfast was great value for 10eu.

IrelandThe heating in my room was on quite high. The windows were initially open but faced a street so I closed both when I checked in. It appeared to be on this high all night, even when I turned the thermostat down the lowest. It was quite late so I did not call reception as I only needed to stay in bed a few hours
The bed was very comfotable. The Night porter was very welcoming, access was easy, with the phone outside when I returned late at night after a wedding party. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options hot breakfast, cereals and fruits.

IrelandTo be honest, getting to a room in the 4th floor was quite a hassle. The place is like a maze we were a group which had 3 rooms spread out on different floors over the hotel. It easily took us 7-10 minutes to get to each others rooms from getting lost to having to take many elevators, to not being all able to all fit in the elevator and waiting for it to come back up. It was a bit of a maze. Also the rooms were quite cramped.
Very lovely helpful staff, they were very friendly and accommodating The breakfast was good also and I loved the balcony in my room.

United KingdomThe walk to the car park. We couldn't order a dessert as they stopped serving at 8.45pm. The heating in the room was difficult to understand and didn't work in accordance with the instructions. There was no soap in our room only shampoo/conditioner. Reception gave me small bars of soap and sachets of body wash.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a. car park but there is access to a public car park which is a bit of a walk away. The location is good very close to the river.

IrelandNeeds money put into it, to bring it up to standard. I've stayed in better B & B's. The bathroom was my main concern which needs the greatest attention. Cracked & dangerous floor tile, rusty curtain pole. Needs modernisation.

ZambiaThe ambience and atmosphere leaves much to be desired. However, I guess that is the style.Very 70s and old looking. The carpet and chairs innthe lobby could do with an upgrade Plus the rooms were stuffy.
The location was convenient plus very close to the train station, and some local bars.Staff were friendly, and the few we interacted with.Bteakfast was great, very generous portions
