Jimmy and Mary are so sweet and helpful! They took such good care of us and our baby daughter! Made sure we were comfortable every time they saw us and never balked at any request. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious! The place is quiet, and not that far at all from Dublin, while being very convenient to Dublin airport.

Great location. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Felt like home away from home. Hosts were so wonderful, felt like we knew them for years. They gave us wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to do from their local expertise!

It was great, the couple was incredibly kind and accommodating. I really thought it was a great value and the Town of Swords exceeded Dublin by far. We were impressed!

Nothing to dislike…

Mary and Jimmy’s beautiful property was perfect for our stop in Dublin to watch the 6 nations international between Ireland v Wales. Superb family room, beautiful breakfast and the best hospitality from the owners. They couldn’t do enough for us. We have a 17 year old son with disability and Mary dropped us to either bus or train station every morning to book our daily travels and showed us around Swords and Malahide. Wonderful couple provided 1st class hospitality.

The welcome was warm and hearty. Shown to our room, and breakfast instructions proffered. We asked about somewhere local to go for dinner and Jimmy was extremely knowledgeable. Access to the room was via an outside door.......so we could come and go without disturbing anyone. Slept really well, and next morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Mary and Jimmy were the loveliest of hosts - we arrived fairly late, but Jimmy still spent time welcoming us, as well as giving us some recommendations on pubs and food nearby. There was a leaflet with some recommendations for pubs and food nearby. The shower was nice and hot, and shampoo and shower gel was provided. The beds were nice a comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast included an assortment of some cereals, yoghurt, fruit and some pastries, as well as some hot food which we had picked the night before. It was a short drive to the airport, so it was super convenient location wise, and the location was stunning - writing this a month after the stay and I'm still able to recall our pleasant experience. :)

Mary and Jimmy are excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome, even offered a drink when we arrived. A very friendly couple. This is where we'll stay when we're over that way again.

Was perfect for a family party we had nearby. Room was perfect for myself husband and 2 adult sons. Hosts were more than perfect. Arranged our taxi and offered us our breakfast earlier than expected as we had to leave early the next morning. Breakfast was amazing. One of the nicest I’ve had. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

The towels were not soft. Perhaps air dried? Makes them seem old and takes away from an otherwise comfy experience. Towels should be soft and fluffy.

John and Mary are superb hosts. Can't do enough for you. They even shared their dinner with me and made me a hot toddy (or two). Breakfast is delicious. Will always be my first choice. Hidden gem.

Mary and Jimmy were amazing hosts. Their home is so welcoming and cozy. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was wonderful. Really enjoyed the whole experience with our kids here. Will definitley be staying here again in the future. Better than we expected. Highly recommend.
