Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandEverything was excellent about our stay at this hotel except for the heat of the bedroom. Staff made sure the heat was knocked off in the room but it was still extremely warm in the room and we had to have windows open and a fan on at all times.

United KingdomHotel rooms were small and expensive for what they were. The tea and coffee facilities had out of date milk and not a great selection. Overall it was an okay stay but wouldn't stay again.
The hotel had friendly staff and the onsite coffee shop was great and reasonably priced. Easy access to the station and centre of Maynooth.

The interconnecting rooms were perfect for a family of 6, and very clean.

IrelandDoor key card wouldn't work on arrival so had to go back down to reception and queue up to get it updated. Had to order more towels for room. It was myself and my twin 11 year old boys but when we got to family changing room at swimming pool a sign said no boys over the age of 7 are allowed in. My boys had to get changed before and after pool themselves in men's changing room. They are 11 years old so managed ok but what if they were 8 years old? This was awkward with only one adult. I had my handbag with me but there were no locks on Lockers to put my handbag and clothes safely away in the Changing room. I had to come out to leisure centre reception in my swimsuit to enquire. Was given a lock in a box and after I locked my items away, was left with the tiny key. Was told by reception that if I couldn't hold it while swimming to give it to a lifeguard. Of course I had to ask a lifeguard who kindly asked me to place the tiny key on a shelf close to her chair. I was worrying it would get lost. Swimming pool was crowded due to lessons but we still enjoyed it
Excellent hotel. So close to train station. Big comfy rooms. Shower fantastic. Rituals products were amazing. Food at dinner and breakfast was great. Room ready on arrival at 3pm. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Nice tables in landing areas to relax. Good WiFi

Maybe you could add more to the menu as there is very little and there was 1 thing I ate on the whole menu which was steak but sometimes it’s nice to just have bar food

IrelandWe were not impressed by the restaurant, limited menu with small portions for a big price. The beds were comfortable but the room was very warm and we could not find a way to turn heating off or down so sleep could have been better.
The pool/leisure Centre was probably the biggest hit of the stay. We would stay again just to avail of that. Comfortable beds. Good shower.
