Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDrinks and food that were overpriced left on the table and in the fridge, these were at pub prices or more expensive. Sofa very uncomfortable and a small poor quality TV, no TV's in bedroom. Getting and returning keys a pain No blackout blinds in main bedroom.

United States of AmericaThe check in process was set up very poorly. The Citypoint Apartments was at a separate location from the checkin. So this required the guests to park at the pay to park area to checkin. Then transfer the car to the citypoint Apartments private parking garage. Then the checkout process required the guests to checkout, then when we returning to the car in the parking garage we found that we were locked into the underground garage because we had returned the fob. This is a ridiculous safety hazard. In the event of a natural or intentional disaster the tenants are locked in! We will not return or suggest this property to friends/family to stay here. Also a negative review will be given on trip Advisor.
The location was fantastic. The set up of the room was perfect for a party of four.

IrelandDirections to key collection was difficult & because of the one way system & no parking at the collection point. The receptionist was very patient & tried her best to direct me over the phone. I would suggest that they should meet you at the property with the key.
Lovely Property, great parking, fantastic location. I would definitely return. I could not find better accommodation with coinvent secure parking in the area.

CanadaThe only tricky part was finding the place. First had to message the property to get the precise address. Then once arrived there to collect the key, had to change locations to the actual apartment complex. However, it was a minor inconvenience for an otherwise outstanding stay.
The apartment is in a perfect location to explore Galway. Right off Eyre Square and an easy walk down to all of the action of Quay St. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas are all top notch. And the bonus was having a patio overlooking the entire city. So nice! We had a car, and there is a dedicated parking spot for the apartment in a secure garage with direct lift access into the building.

United KingdomWe were in room 6 and it sounded like there was some kind of cistern which was constantly filling in the bathroom. Not a problem to us and we didn’t report it but if you were spending a lot of time in the apartment I guess it could be a bit annoying
Spotlessly clean, spacious, really friendly check in staff at the hotel (just around the corner), easy to check in, brilliant location - the view from the balcony was lovely and such a central location was brilliant. Galway is wonderful!!

IrelandJust with the parking, we had to park in the underground carpark that was linked to the hotel to checkin but then once we had our keys, we then had to move the car to the separate carpark that was under the apartment that was down the road, which meant driving the whole way around the one way system for the second time. With check out one of us had to drop the keys back and double park the car as there is no where to park close to reception……and you need the key fob to get in and out of the carpark that was with the apartment

IrelandAccessing the apartment & check in/out is a bit of a palava. First park in the hotel undergrad car park, then check in, then move the car from the hotel underground car park to the apartment underground car park. On check out do it the other way around. If there had been staff at the apartment check in desk that could all have been avoided.
Fantastic place to stay, brilliant location, exceptionally clean, very friendly staff at check in desk.

United States of AmericaDuring cold months the temperature needs to higher and scheduled for longer periods. The apartment was very cold in the evenings. I would recommend having some throw blankets on the couch to help keep guests warm during winter. Paper towel in the kitchen is a MUST!! Bathroom towels for showering need to be bigger and not so lightweight!

AustraliaWe were offered an apartment but a door onto a balcony could not be locked (which staff already knew about) so we had to wait for 45 mins and they upgraded us to the penthouse. It was very spacious but the heat radiators did not work (staff came and looked at them but didn’t fix). Beds were uncomfortable. No place to put things in the shower and towels like sandpaper. Not what you would expect in a penthouse.
Good location to explore Galway. Great views. Spacious, clean apartment.

CanadaWe chose this apartment because after two weeks of travelling they had a washing machine for us to use. This turned into a bit of a nightmare. It did not work. After many trys we ended up hand wringing our clothes out and laying them all over the apartment in hopes that they would dry. It would have been nice if someone had checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. Not enough towels provided. Towels for four people staying for two nights would have been nice to have more than one each to share.
Underground parking perfect. Apartment location perfect. Great for walking around and enjoying the sights. View from apartment great for seeing the city and views of the rainbows after the rain.

United KingdomApartment clean, but hob and freezer would benefit from a deep clean and a defrost. Took a while to get the apartment warm, not helped by windy weather that made the bedrooms cold.
Great location, easy check-in.Good showers and piping hot water. Parking a bonus.

IrelandThe TV didn’t want to work at all, the remote for the TV doesn’t have a “back” button meaning any mistake made means turning the tv off, back on and PRAYING that it connects to the WiFi. Ours wouldn’t work so we had to hotspot a television that isn’t fit for any hotel or apartment by today’s standard. The entrance to the car park from the check in area (200+ meters away ???) is an inconvenience, and If your car is low to the ground it’s going to scratch coming in and out of it as one of the ramps isn’t properly levelled off. I left my iPad in the room and was shocked to find out that the accommodation don’t provide a return service and you must arrange a courier yourself to collect your package with your forgotten items.
If you can you definitely want to request apartment 7, it’s the only one with a corner floor to ceiling glass panel that offers an amazing view of eyre square and salt hill in the distance. Large, spacious, 2 double bed bedrooms, fully kitted out kitchen with appliances and a very comfortable couch. The balcony area is huge and offers for some lovely views. Comfortable beds but considerably small for double beds

United States of AmericaThe noise from the roof fans was a slight annoyance (the fans I think were from the pub next door). The noise did go off later in the evening, was not a major deal.
Spacious and clean, was a full sized apartment and great for being able to feel at home in the center of town.
