Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A perfect location for walking access yet very quiet at night for sleeping. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with lots of choices.

We had a triple room with 3 beds. The room itself was a bit small for 3 and the bathroom and shower were quite small as well. There is no elevator to the 4th floor so we had to have someone help us get our luggage to the fourth floor up 2 sets of stairs.

The pillows are not good, the noise from the yelling of drunk people all night. There was no bar fridge.

The room itself was small. The bed definitely could have been bigger for 2 people. I really don't think small double beds are luxury for hotel stays. You want something bigger than your own at home. It was very small. I also didn't like that they charged my card 50 euros as a "damage deposit" yet as soon as I arrived they processed it back to my card. Without seeing if I caused any damage or not. I felt this was very unnecessary so much so that it might deter me from booking again with the Fleet. It was not my first time to stay there either.
Loved the location and the breakfast is superb. One of the best breakfast I've had while in a hotel.

The hotel location is fantastic, the staff are very helpful and professional. The room were spacious and clean. The lobby give you the feeling that you are in Dublin, very authentic and nice.

Our room was at the back of the property. The window looked onto the back of at least one pub which could be very noisy at night and in the morning when they had beer deliveries

Flooring very noisy creaks when walking on it , gap under the door can see light from the hall , room very hot and window wouldn’t stay open

My room was quite small, and very noisy in the early to mid evening due to a bar or some sort of event taking place in the rooms below.

Booked The Fleet through Booking.com for 5 nights. Airport pick up was part of the package and the driver accommodated us even though our flight was delayed by 90 mins. The room was nice and tidy with a good ensuite. The inclusive breakfast had a good spread and they were very accommodating for special requests like vegetarian sausages and non-dairy coffee. The hotel location is great and you can get around easily. The coach to the airport is just around the corner from the hotel so it was pretty handy. The reception lounge has a good vibe and we enjoyed our Irish coffees by the fire place. Will definitely stay here again.

I feel there was a lack of staff , maintaining the bar at area at night and at breakfast area in the morning .
Rooms were clean and bar area was stylish and breakfast was well stocked. All staff I met were pleasant.

Lift is small Drunks outside the hotel late at night.

Problem with the radiator in the room, had to request maintenance on my first night to come and get it going. Same thing happened on the last day. Also the placement of the radiator meant the entry of the room was heated but not the main part of the bedroom. Had to keep the curtains close to keep the draft out.
Property was in a great location, easy to get to everything. Helpful staff and breakfast had options for everyone. Good size room and bathroom.

The location is super convenient, yet not noisy at all. The interior is nice and has a lobby you can rest and regroup. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice stay!

Staff could be more friendly. They offer you 50% discount on parking ticket for a nearby garage , but the ticket they provided me was expired so I ended up paying the full price.
