We had a meal in the evening which was expensive starter was nine euro portions very small which was not worth the money we where going to share but only five wings per potion so had to order two starters mains was ok nothing special

The room was very specious, the bed was very comfortable, the temperature in the room was super comfy. We are very thankful for tea&coffee selection in the room. The breakfasts are delicious with wide selection of goodies.

Service at dinner was slow, and the property has smart tv’s but are not connected to the internet to use the apps and very little channels available.

Wasn't allowed to drink the coke I bought in the hotel's vending, while eating my dinner in the restaurant.

Room was amended without notice which we found out on arrival. It was rectified quite quickly. The rooms seemed more basic than the advertising with paper cups. Not enough options on tv. We were showed to a table for our evening meal that was still wet, not made up and had food underneath on the floor including bacon which may have been there since breakfast. The second half of the party woke up with a stiff neck due to a constant draft from the window which came through nets and curtains and disturbed sleep.

The staff were really helpful and friendly and Brian in particular got one of the party the drink they wanted. One of the party had a really good sleep. We were able to leave our bags whilst going to the crystal factory and collected them later for our onward journey.

We have been here a few times but have to say this time staff were excellent. From arrival at reception, checking to see if we were happy with our room. Danny and his team , John Paul , Alluden and all the others friendly and chatty.

The rooms were a bit warm, despite having the heating off our entire stay and thus had to leave the window open the whole stay to keep the room a comfortable temperature. My husband and I tend to come down for breakfast as soon as we've woken up, rather than getting dressed for the day and then coming down to eat as by that time, we'd miss the breakfast. As a result, we came down for breakfast in our sweats/pjs with a sweatshirt/jacket on top and I was told by the man at the counter that "I'm so sorry you can't go into the breakfast area in your pjs, please go upstairs and wear your clothes". In my over 30 years of experience with hotels and BnBs, I have never heard someone say this to me in my life. I found it not only very strange but very rude as well and was taken aback. Especially because the day before, we were dressed similarly and no one cared and no one has cared before this at other hotels and BnBs. I did go up and change really quickly, but this incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Had this been a 5 star hotel, I might have understood. But it wasn't and we'd overslept and it was 10:15am and the breakfast was closing in 15 mins and we had to check out soon, so were already in a rush. Other than this one experience, all the other staff in the restaurant and reception were absolutely lovely and very accommodating.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The room we were initially given had a leak in the shower door causing the bathroom to rapidly flood when showering. I immediately informed the reception to have housekeeping to try to repair it while we are away during the day. They were kind enough to move us to a bigger and even nicer room, which was a lovely and unexpected surprise. The breakfast had a decent buffet spread, though I wish they had a few more vegetarian/vegan options for those who eat halal/kosher, such as vegan sausages or something. The dining area was very nice. The hotel was in a good location as well, as it was only a 10-15 mins drive to the city centre.
