눉The potential of the place is huge and everything would be perfect just if not the fact that the owner, worker (whoever) was not there. I was actually checked in by other tourists who showed me my bed (really!), I haven't seen anyone in the reception all the time and the day after I was looking for the guy to check out. All my contact with the worker was about 5 minutes during the check-out. If I was a cheating person who didn't want to pay, I could have just disappeared without paying (well, then booking.com would probably charge my card), I don't know why they didn't have anyone who was present there at the reception. During my one night stay I basically served myself and I saw some other tourists who said the same that they couldn't enter. Other things - for the fact that I was sleeping in the Old Town in the wall I chose the fact that there was no air conditioning (or it was down) and I saw cockroaches in the bathroom. Still I never mind, I know what I decided to take, but if the owner was there, I guess this things would work as they should. This is why, even though I liked the place and I wish them good luck, I must objectively give them a lower rate on 8.3, but from what I can see here it is still more than average.
눇I marked the location as awesome, but I would advise tourists to take several things into account. I was staying in Jerusalem in the Post Hostel where I kept all my belongings, but sleeping in the wall of Jerusalem in the Old Town is an incredible experience, for me sleeping in the hostel was an attraction, so even though I stayed for a couple of days somewhere else, I decided to spend at least one night here (all the magic of the place). This is a bit far from Yaffa Street so if you have a big suitcase or come late it might be a problem. Otherwise it's close to Damascus gate, so you can easily reach Palestine from there. But sleeping in the Old Town of Jerusalem in the wall makes you feel that you travel in a time lapse through the history - this is worth it all, at least for one night.
