Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelBreakfast and bar require some improvements. In the breakfast area, the staff doesn't clean and prepare tables fast enough. Therefore, sometimes it gets difficult to find a clean spot. Communication with the staff is a bit hard as some of them barely speak English and/or Hebrew, Coffee machines did not function properly. Sometimes the coffee tasted weird. In the bar, the menu wasn't clear enough. We also witnessed some loud arguments between the staff members. Having said that, breakfast offered a good variety of food, and the bar was tasty and not expensive at all.
Nice and spacious room, excellent location. Courteous staff. Plenty of space in the parking garage.

United States of AmericaBreakfast provided the many tour groups with an efficient, quick and easy food options. For the individual tourist, however, the breakfast would benefit from providing more interesting and varied healthy and creative grain and vegetable salads, as well as fruit options.
Staff was responsive and friendly. They really tried to please. Room was newly renovated, beautiful, clean and spacious. Outdoor pool was a big plus. Breakfast was plentiful, with omelette and pancake stations.

United KingdomStrange for a hotel of this calibre not to have a 24 hour room service, and the limited room service that is available is from the milk restaurant. Also strange that when sun rises before 06.00 and sets around 20.00, the pool only opens 08.00-18.00, and usually with 15 minutes cut off on either side as the lifeguard spends this time readying him/herself and the pool. Considering how hot the middle-of-the-day hours are, and that many tourists in Jerusalem will use their days for activities, the missing 2.5 hours of optimal swimming time is very disappointing. My children and I found ourselves regularly rushing to get a short amount of swimming. I also don't understand why a family of 5 - which is quite small for a family size in Israel - has to be financially penalised by requiring to book 2 rooms - i.e. nearly doubling the cost. The regular family size here is 5+, and it is not beyond imagination to safely fit 5 people into the room, especially when 3 are small children
Location is excellent. Hotel is clean. Staff are generally friendly

GreeceIf the pool is important to you, then note the strict 6.30 pm closing time, and if you arrive after 6 pm like we did, you may not manage to find a clean towel, and the general feeling you have is that they just want you to leave so they can close up - in fact one afternoon the lifeguard (who mostly seemed to be on her mobile phone the whole time), left her post at 6.15 pm so the manager of the hotel had to sit there in his suit for the last 15 minutes to fulfill the law that someone needs to be “on duty” – hilarious!!) We had an initial issue on check-in that our Booking.com room price might not be honoured because we had only three people occupying two double rooms not four! The hotel reception seemed to think we needed to cancel out that booking and rebook at a higher price for three. Obviously we stood our ground and very quickly a duty manager materialised and sorted it out and offered us a complimentary breakfast however if we had not clearly stated in the Booking.com booking that one room was being occupied by one person only, and had printed a copy of that to show them, we might have lost the argument since they were initially insisting that for two double rooms, we needed to produce four passports, very odd - first time we have ever encountered this in any country!
This hotel is situated walking distance from the Old City and close to a number of good restaurants, parks and green areas. The style of the hotel is late 90s but is very clean and rooms are comfortable. It is well-equipped with lobby bar, nice restaurant, gym and a small pool. Another huge plus was the FREE underground secured parking which is the reason we scored the hotel an 8. Make sure you request a reserved space if you have a car since driving around Jerusalem is not to be advised. Better to leave your car and venture out on foot and by taxi. The breakfast buffet was very nice and had an omelette station and good coffee - always a winning combination.

United States of AmericaThere should be more hooks for towels and clothing in the room's bathroom. The shower stall in the bathroom could use a light. The fitness center was outdated (the elliptical near the door was not running smoothly) and small, no mats provided.
The breakfast had a phenomenal selection and quality. All staff was helpful and friendly, very professional. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. I liked the bathroom size.

United KingdomThe shower was in the bath and my sister found this hard to access as the bath sides were fairly high. The main dining room food was plentiful but repetitive and boring if you stayed two weeks as we did.
Breakfast was a typical Israeli breakfast. The food was good and plentiful but fruit juice was squash, not juice, and coffee though plentiful and good was get it yourself not brought to you. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. and not money grabbing.

SingaporeExcellent breakfast spread. The location was very accessible to the International Convention Centre and the famous Machaneh Yehudah Market (about 20min walk). Right across the street within a minute's walk a couple of excellent pizza/pasta eateries (P2) and an excellent restaurant (Satya). Overall an enjoyable stay.
