The hosts are nice and helpful. The price is good for a room. The hotel is located in a nice Dehli area and close to everything needed.

The Amax Inn is located on a dead-end alley in Paharganj. Location is what it is, not the greatest of all places, but the Amax Inn was not as bad as you can think of. The room was clean, the bathroom was OK and above all, the managers were very correct and helpful at all times. We had a late check in and all went smooth and fast. They even allowed us to choose between two rooms.

As in a lot of hotels in India, there was no hot water when I used it. The cushions were not very clean. Overall still a good experience, I would recommend it.

The bed was very comfortable. I arrived very late at night (2:30 AM) and it was no problem. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They even changed money for me. Good wifi connection.

The hotel facilities are as good as the value of money. The location of the hotel is not that good for foreigners but not harmful. Overall good recommendation.

The location and surrounding area was very bad. At the entrance near the lift I saw a lot of mess of hotel language. Very dangerous in case of fire hazard due to congested construction. Do not see it safe for family

Silence of staff after 10 pm

The first room was to noisely ( back street ) and the manager proposes us another room in a new structure. Very clean, very quiet. The terrasse is pretty and breakfast correct. Always Food available . Proximity of MAin Bazaar, Railway New Delhi Station and Connaught Circle.

the room was nothing similar to the pictures. it was very dirty, we even got dirty towels and sheets. the location was very bad as well. the area is not nice at all and the hotel is located on a street hard to find and not nice. also the staff were pushing us to buy a very overpriced tour. I don’t recommend this place at all

Hotel price is high, not clean at all, Wi-Fi is too bad, first day they gave me one bad room in 4th floor, next day they changed but they didn’t consider price, just one word it’s was very bad

We booked 2 nights in January. The room was extremely cold and damp, after one night we left. The driver sent by the hotel who picked us up at the airport, tried to scam us by saying the hotel was not available. Very basic room, not too clean. You get what you pay for. Suitable only if you have a very tight budget

there is no rooftop lounge or terrace to sit, its literally a roof which other rooms open onto, not really somewhere to relax and is covered in dirt/rubble it’s in the middle of what we found out to be the red light district of paharganj, it’s entrance was down a dingy alleyway covered in electrical wires, bricks and rubble with the signs all saying we are in lonely planet! I don’t understand why or how they managed to get into it, have contacted lonely planet as it’s neither a safe area for travellers and especially women, every local person we met were pretty suprised we were staying there, and to the point our tour company immediately booked a hotel somewhere else for free the same day just to get us out of there. when we went back to check out they charged us for all 4 days after stating as we arrived and checking under 3 days, their card machine was old/outdated and actually didn’t accept any of our cards, - which was really inconvienant, as a hotel I’d expect an up to date card machine which accepts international cards, especially for the price we paid. not good value for money in my opinion, the room was lovely but the facilities, and surrounding area is not as described and pretty unsafe for travellers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and shouldn’t be in lonely planet.

There was nothing Inside the Hotel that i Didn't Liked. Everything was just Perfect. Not Boasting or something My experience was Extremely good. Just 1 thing the location is good but the roads are not that good at my stay it rained down a lil bit so there was muddy road all the way plus at the night time many Cab drivers try to Ignore Visiting this place.

The Room, The Hotel, The Staff, The Owners, The Feeling, The looks. Everything was awesome for me. Before choosing this hotel i searched the every hotel within my Budget in whole Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon. This was the place i found after searching for a week. And it Exceeded all my Expectations. Nature of Staff and Owners is really friendly and humble. Room was comfortable. I didn't expected the lift haha but there was lift as well, was in work all the time. I Highly Recommend this place. Your stay gonna be Epic.
