Since it was standard double the room was little small for two people. It was difficult to keep the bags...Also one suggestion, kindly keep a soap tray for the soap in the bathroom.

The hotel was a lovely heritage stay. The room was very well maintained and clean. The staff were polite friendly and helpful. Value for money.

There are no parking facilities at the hotel. But can find some parking spots by the roadside or nearby parking space.

I liked the view from the terrace outside my room. The breakfast were decent. All the staff were very helpful and responsive. The location is strategic. Lots of good eateries nearby.

The location is very close to white town, a major plus point. We were family of four and got the room with roof top. All basic amenities provided. Good AC. Opted for South Indian Breakfast which they arranged from nearby place and was good. No kitchen facility in hotel but lot of eating options near by in various range.

Booked this property after having looked at the communal areas/terraces. These were not in a good state of repair and were disappointing. Made the most of it in the evenings after getting a candle from staff but could be much improved.

Location. Clean bathroom. Hot shower. Clean bedding. Reasonable breakfast - egg, toast, fruit, tea/coffee. Staff helped when our bus was cancelled.

Heavily crowded locality, and no private parking. Old building, with visible wear and tear. Washrooms were okay, but could be cleaner.

Courteous staff, always willing to be of help. Good location for visitors. Mr. Raja was always there to help, especially to park our car on the busy road side.

The beautiful heritage property is excellently situated, with the major attractions located at a stone's throw. The beach is a 7-8 min walk, white town is nearby, and there are also pubs, seafood restaurants and scooty hiring shops within 1-1.5km. The caretaker, Mr. Raja, is a gem of a person. He went out of his way to ensure we have a memorable stay. He answered all our queries, and even, cooked us traditional Tamil breakfast on our last day, even before breakafast time, because we had to leave early. If you are looking for a memorable stay at Pondy, this is a great option.

Breakfast could have been better . Not much choices with continental breakfast

The location was perfect. It’s close to most of the attractions and the promenade beach . Staff were very nice. The manager Raja was accommodating and kind. I traveled with my parents and he let have a late check out. The other staff were also welcoming.

My room was small. OK for one person, but two would struggle. Perhaps the rooms upstairs are larger?

Very friendly place right in the middle of Pondy. It really feels like living in a period house. Cool and quiet, warm welcome by attentive management. The best part was the excellent breakfast (Western or South Indian) taken at a communal table so conversation flows. Strongly recommended!!

Only a small issue arose as water leaked from the AC unit with drops of water directly falling in the bed underneath, but we dragged the bed away from the wall and problem was resolved.

Room and bath was really clean, no issues with hygiene, property is a heritage one, hence, rooms are a bit small. But very comfortable. Staff were helpful and helped with renting a scooty as well for 300/- per day. Nothing to complain, but we never tried the complimentary breakfast during our 3 nights 4 days stay and hence can not comment on the same, but I saw foreigners and Indians enjoying their breakfast, so assuming that it must be good. Overall, value for money, good location, comfortable stay and a happy customer here.

The overall public place can be more cleaned. The rooms were relatively clean but it can be better. Plumbing work is needed in room 301 and 302.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hospitality is amazing and you feel very cozy there. It is in a good location and everything is on a walking distance as it is in White Town.
