Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Feels a but over priced and rooms are a bit dated. The breakfast provided could be better especially at the price that they charge per night there is definitely room for improvement.

It's a pity that they did not have their own resturant, there is a good coffee shop however.
Good location, right around the corner from Churchgate on Marin Drive. The hotel is in a 1940 art Deco building. Packed full of period features with large rooms and high ceilings. The furniture is a bit 1970's but solid and comfortable. Many rooms have balconies with a sea view.

The location on Marine drive is fantastic. A lot of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff attentive.

The bathroom does not have a division for the shower. Therefore, everytime someone showers, the bathroom remains wet. We resolved this by drying the floor each time. We highly recommend a shower division so this doesn't occur.
The staff was extremely attentive to our needs and requests. We ordered extra towels, extra water, extra hangers, hair dryer, and iron, and everything was delivered to us promptly and with a smile.

The cleanness of the room and bathroom and general maintenance can be improved. The building and furnishings are dated, a facelift is overdue. It's a reasonable stay but I think it's a bit overpriced for its overall quality.
Excellent location on Marine Drive, 10 mins walk to Churcgate train station, 30 mins walk to the beautiful CSMT, short taxi ride to Gateway of India. Our spacious and bright double room is at the back of the building so the traffic noise is subdued. 3 choices of complimentary breakfast are decent, it's served in the room with a free newspaper. Good air-con, shower water is hot, bed is reasonably comfortable. They provided plastic bottled water but there is a UV water filter dispenser in the kitchen of the 2nd floor, we fill our own bottles then boil the water before drinking, easy and safe.

The balconies can be cleaner and the washrooms a bit more updated. It’s clean mostly, but dirt from wear and tear is evident which can be a put off.
Everything was great. The view and location is to die for. Everything is pretty clean. Put some seating in the balcony and we wouldn’t even leave our room. The view is to absolutely die for.

Intially, housekeeping was not done. I was told that I had to request this, but they then dealt with it promptly and followed up if I wanted one done after the first one, so they do listen to your concerns.
Good Hotel on Marine Drive (tourist spot), location does have a handful of food places but be prepared to pay tourist prices ' cheap local street food can be found at the train station good court instead :)... You will need to get a cab/rickshaw to head to different places as there isn't much going on around here besides cricket matches or chilling around the marine.

The shower was very weak and toiletries inadequate. No soap dish, glass for tooth brush or toilet paper. Had to ask for each item. Management needs to give a little more attention.
Location was excellent and the room size was great. Watching the bustling crowds on marine drive and the sunset over the sea from the balcony was lovely. The staff was friendly.

Bathroom was a wet room, more of a personal preference but I prefer to have a separate shower area or at least one with a shower curtain to stop water from getting everywhere
