Nice and roomy, secure and a good location

The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned (hair in the sink, dirty floor). On the day of my departure, someone tried to enter my room before check out time several times, knowing my door code (!). When I opened, someone from the staff (I guess?) told me he wanted to inspect the room with the manager. Whatever that was supposed to mean, it was very unprofessional and disrespectful to the privacy of the guests.

Nice and comfortable for a short stay, good bus connection to the city centre.

Nothing in particular. It was just right.

It was just right for our needs. Would of been nice to have a little more room but really cannot Complain. Would definitely use the place again when we return next summer. We got to see the northern lights an hours drive away which was a bonus. Adequate parking for those using rental car. Nearby supermarket and also a 24/7 petrol pump/electric charger next to the hotel. The centre of the city was only a 20-30minute walk.

We couldn't figure out how to turn the air vent off for the night in the bathroom which was a bit annoying.

The bathroom stinks so much…bad smells..the toilet was spoiled the shower was clogged very bad cleaning and its absolutely disaster the toilet…

I have really enjoyed my stay at this property, It was warm, comfortable and clean. Great location, about a 20 mins walk to downtown Reykjavik or a 10 mins bus ride, very close to other hotels and bus stops for tours.

The code to open the door did not work so I had to call the assistance and a gentlman helped resetting it. The bathroom vent was super loud, even with closed door we could ear it. We were so tired and are used to sleep in loudy places that this was not a problem but for many it could be.

The room was big, full equipped, very comfortable and modern. Easy to get, easy to park. Highly recommended

The room was smaller than at the pictures. Would-be great to have at least salt and pepper. Noone is traveling with salt and pepper and it does not cost much.

Towels from last guest were left hanging and no toilet paper. Both were corrected that night and staff apologized. It’s an Iceland thing, no one shovels the sidewalk or parking lot, so beware in the Fall-Spring with snowfall (ice and snow accumulation.)

The apartment was too hot. The heating seemed to be on for the whole building and there was no way to control it. Although the temperature outside was negative we kept the windows open during the day. Could use a mat by the door, as the shoes were wet from the snow outside, the first time we got in, the floor was all wet... We end up having to take our boots outside before getting in.

The apartment was fairly clean. There was a toaster, Nespresso machine, microwave and utensils for cooking. The apartment was small and pretty basic but fit for the purpose as we stayed out during the day. There was a laundry room for guests but we didn't use it so can't comment on that. Communication was really good, every time I texted before the trip with questions, they answered straight away and were really polite and helpful. Great location, very near Reykjavik by car and several supermarkets nearby. We rented a car as transport is very expensive in Iceland, it was the best thing we could have done. Saved us a lot of money in tours as we got to visit all the most famous locations by ourselves. The only tour we paid for was to go see the Northern lights as you don't want to go to unknown places in the dark of night by yourself. If you are going to Iceland to explore and see as much as you can and need a place jus for sleeping and cook the occasional meal/breakfast I recommend this apartment.

A bit more information beforehand regarding laundry, I didn't know that there would be a charge for using the washing machine and dryer, would be helpful to have that advertised online.

Using access codes made it so easy and simple and less likely to forget keys as the code was always on my phone. It felt safe too. Lovely apartment, perfect size for one person, had everything I needed, very clean and tidy, also the views from the window were amazing especially during sunset. Good reasonable distance from the main town area with shops, close to amenities and cafe opposite the flat. Nice location, easy to reach via taxi or local bus,was able to access local excursions/tour buses close by too.

Bathroom is very tiny especially the shower, very little soap. You have to pay for laundry if you wanted to wash your clothes. Homeless people would wait in the “lobby” the doors were never locked. A few nights we had very loud neighbours which resulted in police coming in. Had a night of a few power outages. This hotel is more for a small family with kids rather than a romantic getaway.

The heating system is too hot and we leave the window open to sleep and still hot. Thank you for keep us really warm in the winter. If we could adjust the haeting system it will be better. Over all it's pretty good for the price and location and everything.

You can open the door of the building and the door of the apartment using a code. It is very easy. Although, we had one problem, because our room changed. They sent me a message earlier with a room number, but, a couples of hours later they sent me another room number. It was a little bit confusing. But we could handle.
