Only a minor thing that the WiFi wasn't the strongest in comparison to other places we've stayed in iceland. Fast enough for your phones, but we use laptops, so just a small note :)

Great location, wonderful hot tub, everything you need for a lovely stay and in a good base to explore the diamond circle, myvatn and more!

Loved everything. The location, a fully equipped kitchen. The hot tub, it was really warm and cozy. We also got lucky with the northern lights. Cannot imagine anything better and for a really reasonable price.

A perfect cottage conveniently located between Godafoss and Lake Myvatn. Fully-equipped kitchen, a private hot tub and a cozy living room with a large window facing north and the Northern Lights! We absolutely loved this accomodation and we look forward to returning soon.

Really nice, clean and cozy cottage with well equipped kitchen. The private hot tub which is heated with geothermal hot water was super nice and relaxing. Location is remote, but in good distance to several sights like Godafoss, Myvatn lake and natur bath and many more.

Perfectly located to a range of sites to visit including Godfoss, Husavik and Mytvan. Good space with everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing!

The heating, even on lowest setting, made the cottage really warm, so we r en had to use a fan on a cold September night, which disturbed our sleep a little bit. Other than that, everything was great

This unit felt the most cramped of the places we stayed in during our trip to Iceland. The couch seemed to take up too much of the main room, and the kitchen counter was very small for food prep, cleaning dishes, etc. There was no dishwasher. The unit was also incredibly warm when we arrived. It took quite some time to cool it down with all of the windows and the door open, which led to lots of flies inside. The beds were not the most comfortable of our trip. While clean linens were provided, this was the only property we stayed in where we had to make up our own beds using those linens.

The pastoral setting for these cottages was beautiful. I loved taking a walk on the trail mowed into the adjacent field for that purpose watching and listening to the birds that were nesting there. I even saw an owl on one of those walks. The private hot tub was the highlight of the cottage itself, and we appreciated having access to the grill. The kitchen was adequately stocked for basic cooking. We also appreciated that the fridge had a freezer in it for refreezing our cooler ice packs. Location was excellent for exploring the North.

That we only stayed 2 nights!

The location was amazing - we used it as a central location to the Myvatan area and Husavik + Dettifoss/Godafoss. It had everything we needed to cook each night. The heated floors were so cozy. The fan for sleeping was a nice touch. The hot tub was a nice treat each night. The space between cottages was sufficient, and the property they were on was beautiful. Self check-in was appreciated, and the instructions left on the table were very helpful.

Just a side note, Apple Maps was lost trying to find the location but Google Maps works great!

The area was very quiet and peaceful. Unit was clean and bright with natural light. Check in was very quick and easy.

hot tub wasn’t very hot, the beds separated when we slept cus we had to push them together and the WiFi wasn’t very good.

Really cool place with lots of open glass. The whole place seems very energy efficient with easy to use hot tubs. Heated floors and endless hot water.
