Two bedrooms are located on upper floor.

A luxury and spacious house. Due to traffic, we checked in at 11pm and left the house at 8am in the next day, we have no time to enjoy the facilities inside the house.

The hot water tank was only enough for 4 people to have a shower, while the house can accommodate up to 6 people.

The place is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful town and this fantastic house. It has everything we needed: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a lot of things to do around. We highly recommend this place!

Exterior doors were a bit hard to get used to if you’re not used to those kinds of doors. It was a bit pricey although not bad if you’re splitting it with others. Stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were a bit steep and the railing didn’t go all the way to the top of the stairs which made it somewhat more difficult to grab onto.

Very homey and comfortable. Great location. Excellent view of the town and surrounding fjord. Exceptionally clean and the beds were great. It was well decorated and had a very vintage feel, although had all modern amenities. I loved sitting on the back deck.

A minor matter but light curtains especially in the lower bedroom would be good. At night We needed to open the bedroom window ( for a little cool air) but the blind kept banging and then the bedroom door kept making noises. Couldn’t open the blind as the window is in full street view.

The property was super charming and cozy, with lots of windows and natural light. There were several blankets provided—a nice touch which took the chill off when enjoying the view from the deck. Seydisfjordur is a beautiful little town, and our kids had a blast on the jumping pillow at the nearby playground.

Location, the apartment everythings

The town is small and beautiful but the big ships are comming there releasing loads of turists who then go further to the island. So while it was empty the evening before it was a perfect moment to take pictures around little church in the center of the town and there were only local people around. The next morning when tourists arrived it was packed with people fighting for the perfect photo spot. It is not house related though! There everything was perfect :) Just take your photos before the ship arrive into the port :)

This place is just amazing. Beautiful house with all you need for the stay. Fully equipped kitchen, several rooms. Everything clean and nice. There is a small patio in front of the house where you also have a barbecue (we didn't use it). It is close to the port and really a perfect spot to stay during the trip around east fjords. Next time I would like to stay longer than just one night. There were just two of us so we didn't use rooms on the first floor but the house can accomodate few people. Contact with the host was also easy and we received answers to our questions quickly. Great value for money in my view.

There is nothing I didn't like

We are now on day 6 of our trip and have stayed in several places along the way. This is by far our favorite! The little town is a quaint fishing village with some great restaurant options. The apartment is adorable with a view of the harbor. The accommodations themselves are wonderful. Comfortable beds and the kitchen has everything you need. The host was very responsive as well and the free laundry facilities is a great ammenity. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

The washing machine was in a separate hut and was shared by several apt, I guess. So we have to queue up for it for some time. And the cooker was not working properly. It took us ages to cook our dinner

The apartments we stayed are facing the bay. The scenery is so beautiful that you just wish to stay there longer and longer. Rooms are all spacious. Two are upstairs. Bathroom is big. Got a BBQ stove. We enjoyed very much staying there.

Beautiful and adorable little cottage. Tastefully decorated. Clean. Kitchen was very sufficient. Dishwasher was helpful. Washer and dryer were so helpful. Host was so quick to respond. Beautiful location. Would happily stay here again! Wish we could have stayed longer!
