Not very varried breakfast, but ok and included in room rate.

Great location, short walking distance from most sites in the city. Very nice restaurant and bar downstairs, with great cocktails and very nice food. Upon arrival I got a wonderful surprise and got upgraded from a single room, to a bigger double room, with a view to Halllgrimskirkja. Highly recommend Hotel Odinsve and I hope to be back.

smell of the water, but I'm aware there is nothing the hotel can do about it. just know its a bit...stinky :)

The room was great. we stayed in 2 rooms, one booked thru a credit card. second room was fancier with a bathtub and a really nice sized room. the first room was a bit smaller but was still very nice and clean. front desk is open 24/7 and employees were super nice and friendly. loved the addition of "guest" cats :)

Parking is street side. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the area was really crowded, negotiating the narrow streets was stressful for this American driver! Not the hotel’s fault and most hotels don’t have a garage so this is a caution for Americans driving in the downtown area.

The hotel was very close to all the shopping, rainbow street, etc. The room designs were eclectic- we booked 3 and none were the same layout. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very good location and friendly and helpful staff. The room was of a reasonable size, clean and the linen was of good quality. The bathroom was also adequately sized and clean, with good toiletries.

Noise from the restaurant can travel into the rooms immediately above, but it didn’t go on too late.

The breakfast - it was, well presented but done on the cheap. And the coffee was AWFUL - coffee is the one thing that MUST be done well especially at breakfast.

Room and shower are a little on the small side.

Great location - very close to tour collection stops, restaurants and the harbour. Helpful, friendly staff, decent on-site restaurant/bar and extremely comfortable beds.

Tiny nitpick but the TV only had a couple of channels and I couldn't cast my phone. As Reykjavik is a very expensive city for tourists, a subsidised breakfast would have been nice, I.e. half price for hotel guests.

It's a about a 5 minute walk to the excursion pick up point. Really close to the shops and other activities. Staff are really friendly and the reception is 24h.

The bed was too close to the wall and there is a risk of hitting it if getting up in the night. (This was just the structure of my room, though, they are all different.)

Shower too small Very very dark! I had to ask for extra lamp or else I had to work in bathroom ! Tables not set up for work ( if needed to ) Made for sleep. No hanging around or if want to do some journaling/ work

The bathroom was a bit to small and cramped. Expect the rooms to smell slightly of sulphur from the hot water in the shower, however the cold water is perfectly drinkable and very fresh.

staff were excellent, well informed, had plenty of information about trips and could make all the trip reservations for me. Location was within a couple of hundred yards of the centre of Reykjavik yet the price was excellent
