Third time I’ve stayed here over 20 years. Was pleased the owner/manager accommodated my request to be moved to a nicer room. The location is great, the breakfast selection good and the staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel is old, so about what you would expect in facilities. The one thing that could easily be upgraded is towels and bedding. Towels were especially rough.

Breakfast was "ok". Wasn't the best, wasn't the worst. Could use some scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage.

The location is good being away a bit from the down town area but close enough to walk. It was quiet. The room was nice, clean and a decent size bathroom. The court yard and grounds are nice and comfortable for just hanging out. Having parking near by was a big plus.

The beds/pillows weren’t super comfy- would have loved a duvet or quilt .. thin bedspread didn’t do much

The breakfast was nice but a bit predictable.

All the staff, even Mario the cat were fabulous. Helpful, polite and efficient. It felt like a happy family-run business. It was clean and comfortable with easy access to the village.

No restaurant in the hotel. Only breakfast. Could do brilliantly. I needed food for a toddler and nowhere would cook a takeaway portion of food. So hotel food would be brilliant. Didn't like the smell of smoking in the halls, obviously people were smoking in their rooms. That's a personal pet hate. Language barrier between owners and myself..I have no Italian.

Location was brilliant. Lady owner is an absolutely beautiful lady, very kind. Balcony area was beautiful in the morning with a coffee. Birds and family cat entertained the toddler. Fabulous bar and area to relax after a long day

The AC unit was a bit noisy.

The hotel has free parking, which is great for Cinque Terre area. The breakfast was good. The location is convenient for exploring the area.

The hotel doesn’t take card payments at all which meant that I had to scrabble about for change to pay my city tax and bar bill upon check out as I didn’t have time to go all the way to the nearest ATM and then back before my train. It would be very helpful if there was a sign in reception explaining that no card payments are accepted or else that you are informed when checking in.

Location, in the newer part of Monterosso only 5 min walk from the train station and beach. Nice quiet outdoor area to relax with a drink before bed

The shower was tight; had to turn water off and on during our showers to avoid flooding, beds were hard. AC would not cool room off at night.

The daily breakfast was good, several tour groups where there during our stay which made it crowded but doable. The room was clean, breakfast choices were typical European options.

Tv signal wasn’t steady. They said it was due to rain. Moved fruit, wasn’t fresh but the hey did supply whole oranges. Breakfast was good otherwise. To have a better restaurant selection you needed to walk to the old town.

The location was close to the new town, beaches, & trains. Breakfast was 7-10. We could easily swim and walk back. Staff worked hard, especially 2 women that cleaned 50 tables.

The towels

The owner and her staff were delightful and very helpful. The room was pretty tight but we expect to be cramped in Italy hotels. The towels were very scratchy. All in All a charming, if not elegant, hotel located in the heart of Monterosso. And it is the only town in Cinque Terra that you can drive to.

There was no air conditioning in the bedroom.

The hotel is a cosy, homey family hotel, perfectly located on a quiet street just off the beach promenade. The rooms and bathrooms may be smaller compared to chain hotels or hotels in other popular areas but the hotel is pristine and well maintained. What made our stay unforgettable was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff who were there to greet us (and see us off) like we were family. If I find myself in the region again I would repeat.

It’s on the quiet side of town but still close enough to most of things you need like train station and dining places. The property is well-kept and complimentary breakfast is great.

Very expensive comparison to other hotels in Italy. We chose this hotel for the parking which was advertised and included in the price. On departure we were charged 20 euro extra per day! Bit of a rude shock. When we arrived no one advised of this additional charge and the booking. Com website advertised as parking included.

Nice big room with good air conditioning. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great location.

The room was poorly cleaned on the Checking day. But we requested to clean and the problem was sorted. Everything was really old and the covers didn’t seem to be changed regularly. The AC was really loud and the toilet didn’t have leg space at all, we had to sit sideways to be able to use it.

Friendly and helpful staffs. Old hotel but it has everything i need. It was comfortable, and i slept well throughout my stay there. The AC works perfectly. Location is great too.

I killed a couple of large sized mosquitoes while in my bed and both were oozing with my blood. It was pretty obvious and I even made sure that housekeeping saw it. The stained sheets were not changed/replaced.

Breakfast was wonderful, with variety of breads, pastries, cheeses, salmon, etc.. I appreciated very much that the pot of coffee at my table was replaced promptly, upon request. Lovely gentleman who checked me in, is an asset to your establishment.
