Unfortunately no elevator in the hotel

We were for 7 nights in Venice. After the 3 first nights spent in the 4th flloor, the hotel has no elevator (correctly indicated in booking.com), that was the " purgatorio", we arrived the last 4 nights in "paradiso" in the 1st floor. Breakfast was very good for the money/quality and diversity ratio. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room very clean, beds ok. The hotel has the large advange of less than 7 minutes from San Marco place and less than 5 minutes from Rialto bridge. Good restaurant nearby.

The only things we can think of are that there is no elevator (it's an old building) and that the vaporetto (the water taxi) experience was awful: expensive, crowded, and they broke our bag! (But clearly not the hotel's fault). The hotel was super-nice

The hotel is in a fantastic location, next to Ponte di Rialto, and the hotel staff was awesome and took great care of us. Breakfast was incredible, with so much food that it could barely fit on the table. All in all a great experience

The property is an old building hence it doesn’t have an elevator, so if you got luggage and you get room on third floor, you’re gone

Mosquito bites, but this is to be expected being by the water and having a balcony room.

The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly. I have an autistic son and they were very understanding to this.

Our receptionist, a strong, well-built man, did not offer us, me and my daughter, a hand to carry our bag on the fourth floor hehe And, in in general, acted like as if he was annoyed by our presence, but truth be told, we got used to this kind of attitude from the male staff in Italy :)

Nothing it was perfect for us!

Superb location in between San Marco square and the Rialto bridge. Unexpectedly huge, good quality breakfast included in our rate. Comfy room overlooking a canal, beds were comfy and had a small balcony. There can be some noise early morning from the canal but if the windows are closed you can't hear it. Great shower. Typically traditional Venetian furnishing - we loved it!

On the 1st night the breakfast wasn't available due to staff holidays, they made up for it with a nice bottle of prosecco in our room and the next day breakfast was lovely and served with a smile

Hard to find but in a very central location & a very pleasent little room

Pillows were too soft and boats in the canal with early morning deliveries were quite loud if you wanted to enjoy a sleep-in. But part of the experience of Venice.

Location was great and perfect novelty for visiting Venice. Right on the canal and good central location between St Marks and the Rialto Bridge.

The room was pretty tiny and Booking.com advertises laundry as an amenity - there is no laundry service available. There was also a large amount of water always pooling in the bathroom from condensation on the window.

This is in an ideal location in Venice - within a couple of minutes you can get to Rialto bridge or to St. Mark's Square. The check in process was easy and the staff were helpful. It was a good value for our trip.

Unfortunately, we had a last minute itinerary change and requested a change of dates from the property. They rigorously enforced the cancellation policy without showing any of the 'flexibility to change dates' indicated in their listing on Booking.com. This was despite them continuing to advertise rooms on B.com for the dates we were requesting the change for. Disappointing.

Traditionally decorated room in a great location. Clean with plenty of space. Good location close to popular sites. Good breakfast provided.

Location is excellent as it is at the center of Venice. Every where you want to go is 15-20 minutes from the hotel. The restaurant and the food is definitely beyond our expectation. One real draw back is the lack of elevator which is really not practical at all.
