A later breakfast finish would have been nice after tiring but enjoyable days.However, the variety of breakfast dishes was excellent.

Machine coffee is not nearly as good-tasting as fresh- made. That was the only complaint for me, although you could have as much as you wanted.

Nice size room, very friendly and helpful staff, right across from castle and moat, very nice breakfast, very close and easy walk to restaurants, sights, and shops. Street parking was close by, and only cost 5 euros/day. We were able to drive into the area in front of the hotel to unload and load our bags. Great communication and directions.

Some minor points: - Balcony not really usable due to some weird smell coming from somewhere - Rooms could be a bit more cozy / less „sterile“

We had been staying in 5-star hotels and so you could tell the difference between a 4 and 5, but we would say we enjoyed the hotel overall. Breakfast a bit disappointing, nothing special.

Location was great for exploring the old city, around the corner from the cathedral and smack in the middle of the medieval fortress. Room was large enough for us. Unique decor and lobby.

Slightly unpleasant was the loud music in the breakfast room, which does in our view does not enhance the atmosphere during breakfast. Unfortunately this is quite common in hotels these days. No coffee machine in the room. But that took us quicker to the breakfast which was excellent. So actually not a problem.

Location is very good, in the centre, no cars (except to bring and take your luggage). Room was excellent. Breakfast had really a lot of original items, very tasty and diverse, next to standard. That is really a big bonus.

Really nothing to complain about, very pleasant stay, absolutely to recommend!

The property is less than 20 minutes on foot away from the train station and is located in the very center of Ferrara, just in front of Largo Castello. The staff was extremely helpful and was so kind to book for us a table in one of the nearby restaurants the same evening. The property is quite modern both in public spaces and rooms. The room was very spacious (though, the bathroom was relatively small), with an aircon, a small fridge (minibar, basically), and a tall mirror. The breakfast was, on one side, limited (e.g. no fruit yoghurts), but on the other side - there was a HUGE selection of dried fruits, seeds, nuts, and so on. Plus a decent selection of pastry, cheeses, and other "traditional" breakfast dishes. In addition to "regular" drinks (like juices, tea/coffee), there were non-standard breakfast drinks like lemon-herbs water and similar. Last but not least, there was honey straight from hive frame!

From the first step in the entrance door .... WOW 👌... this is undoubtedly one of the best EU / Italy boutique hotels we have ever stayed in ... very friendly staff, very clean, and more importantly, meeting ALL SrevQuality principles ... it they marketed and precevid by us ... is what we received and what was expected ... then came the unexpected ... the breakfast, support to park in the old town, and the FAMILY atmosphere.. the owners are the day to day staff you interact with, and every question or needs is quickly dealt with ... THE WOW, MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US IN OUR TRAVELS ... even our next location, which is very good, does not match the Hotel Annunziata in Ferrara, Italy.
