The room is as cold as an iceberg. No heater after 1st of April. What a genious policy! Don’t advice to stay at this hotel during April or early May perhaps. Firenze weather is unpredictable. We stayed there on 21-22 of April and it was like Stockholm in the room…

Perfect central location for exploring downtown Florence. It is situated off the main street, so it is quiet.

Lighting, rooms were quite dark, shower power was good but head of shower didn’t always stay up which was slightly irritating.

Location was amazing, in the centre near to everything. Bed was extremely comfortable, staff were friendly and nothing to much trouble.

The clunky wooden furniture around the bed.

The room was of good size with a view of a canal (not the best view); the bed was of good size, but the furniture was too old from back in the day and too clunky. They need to get rid of the clunky furniture and replace is with more modern, smaller pieces and the room would be more spacious. I liked that the hotel is located like 5 min away from St. Mark's Square the stores and the threater around it were very posh and nice; and good access by vaporettos to the rest of the island.

The shower backed up, it was a stand up shower with very small basin.

We don't really like the room though maybe it was the best we can get for such affordable price, since Florence is an expensive place generally. The room was well designed and equipped, but really dark. Inner window panes were blinded and the only way to open them was inside the room. It was ok for 1 night, though. But we found electric lights in the room really depressing. The light was dim and grayish, especially in the bathroom so our faces in the mirror looked pale and unhealthy. I think this problem can be easily solved by using more warm light.

The hotel is very well situated, the room was clean and the staff really helpful. We also liked the breakfast - fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cookies, ham, cheese and fried eggs, juices and tea/coffee.

We would recommend new pillows....softer pillows to allow for a better nice sleep. The ones they have are very hard.

The Staff are wonderful! Perfect location! Clean! We are allowed to take our service dog. Breakfast and breakfast area very nice! The BEST thing is the Staff...so friendly...so helpful!

The corridor outside the room smelled of cooking but not inside the rooms.

Location perfect! Staff are friendly and helpful and always welcome you with a warm smile and answer every question. The breakfast is also very good. Hotel is also clean and quiet.

it’s a bit basic but since we weren’t expecting to spend any time there it didn’t matter. it was perfectly comfortable. the other guests were incredibly loud and various times in the night which woke us up.

The location was amazing - we walked everywhere with ease and we’re right in the thick of it.

No soundproofing I am afraid. The noise from pedestrians on the street below reached our room. Small shower stall, no tub. Bear in mind that breakfast selection is limited but filling.

We knew this was a budget hotel. The location was second to none. Florence is pretty compact but the hotel was minutes away from every main attraction like the Duomo and the Uffizi gallery. Great selection of restaurants and shops around the area. The staff were friendly and especially Nino, who was our favourite ~

They forgot to give me a blanket and to turn on the heating but brought once I called at night and helped with the heating. The service of the staff is on the highest level. Solved any issues very fast

The best location in the city, very convenient room. Good breakfast and very friendly staff, they helped me a lot, gave many good advices. The pillows were convenient, the shower was clean with warm water.

Rooms was small for four people. No control of the hearing system which led us to open windows at night to get comfortable as it got very hot. Only way to turn off the heating was to trip the main power switch in the room.

Good buffet breakfast, good location in the heart of city, staff was very helpful.
