I could not do more to show my appreciation warmly enough for such a caring staff and wonderful stay

We were made to feel like long-awaited family the second we arrived. We hadn't closed the taxi door before our luggage was taken upstairs to our room! The common spaces were gently perfumed. The staff at front desk, housekeeping, bell man, and the "famous" Antoniello in the breakfast room, who is a treasure, cared for every moment of our stay and visit. The interiors of the rooms, common spaces, elevator, stairs are pristine and well kept. I caught housekeeping dusting hallway pictures 3 times in 2 days. White fluffy robes and house shoes awaited us. There was not a detail overlooked or ignored. THERE WAS CHOCOLATE on my pillow every night.

It was no problem for me - being tired and sleeping well - but for people sensitive to city-life noises, bring ear plugs.

The hotel is perfectly situated, in the very centre. The staff, esp. Marta - extremely helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. The room is amazingly taken care of - great towels, your favourite stuff (e.g. tea) supplied and everything seems to be done with love and devotion.

Excellent location in the historical area of Florence. Vibrant, stylish interiors coupled with lovely antique room furniture. My single room was unexpectedly upgraded to a double facing Palazzo Strozzi which was amazing with natural light and doors opening out to the via below. Quiet location however it was mid December so high season may be busy. The staff were exceptional in every respect, in particular Silvia and Antonello!! They both went above and beyond to ensure my stay was the best experience. 🙏🙏 Full offer of bathroom amenities & complimentary kitchen supplies including a kettle for tea. Spacious bathroom, great shower water pressure. Very comfortable bed with king pillows. As an Australian living in Italy it was a treat to stay at Room Mate Isabella, the best 4 star accommodation I have had to date. Will return again in spring/summer time.

The room was a bit cold. The ham was not fresh at breakfast. It wasn't stored in a cool environment, so it smelled a bit. Otherwise everything was great.

A wonderful hotel in a historic building, practically in the centre of Florence. Only a few minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge or the Piazza del Duomo. The room was furnished very nicely, the bed was very comfortable. Wifi worked without problems. The hotel staff was very helpful. I was pleased with the nice messages from the maid on my pillow. Complimentary coffee, prosecco, tea, biscuites by the reception. A wonderful place to stay in Florence.

as mentioned above, was initially really disappointed by the error, but they more than made up for it to make sure we were happy

There was a misunderstanding with our room on the first night as i'd requested a twin room for my mother and I and were given a double bed. This was rectified by putting an extra bed in the room and then we were moved to another, much larger room the following day with huge apologies from the team who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

The breakfast is fantastic. Only place I've been to that offers pancakes, bacon and eggs. And there plenty of choices for a more traditional Italian and European breakfast. The staff was very helpful in arranging taxis, and in recommending restaurants and gelaterias.

the hot water didn’t work properly in the shower so every few seconds it would turn freezing then back to warm again

Superb location. All the major attractions are just a few minutes walk. The hotel and staff are exceptional. Beautiful room with views (suite). The best part are the staff, nothing is too much trouble and always available to advise and help. Highly recommend.

Access to hotel lobby and moving luggages by ourselves were not that convenient. Also, I stayed in the 4th floor (room with very good view) but toilet is somehow very small comparing to the room size itself. Secondly, it might be because the room is under the wood roof structure so I found that there is lots of dust in this room and thus made myself and my daughter sneezing all the time.
