You can hear everything that happen outside your room. I was close to the reception so I could hear them and also my neighbors. It was annoying when I was trying to sleep.

The only downfall to the hotel was that the room with a street view was quite noisy at night time. We stayed on the first floor. The noise from the cars outside and ambulances driving past woke us several times.

Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break and would book again in the future.

Roma tax information is not updated anywhere. On the wall in the room the tax information was outdated. It was increased to 6 euro per night per person for 3 star hotel since January 2024. I think it would be fair to update it.

It is compact and nice hotel, close to good places for breakfast and supper, termini, metro, 15 min walk to colosseum, it has terrace and nice view from the 5th floor, you can check out very early by just leaving the key. We did not use the breakfast at the hotel so I cannot rate it. The staff is very friendly and polite. The beds are very comfortable.

Breakfast was meh. Pastries didn't taste fresh and it felt like breakfast on a budget. Rooftop Bar was just some patio tables on a terrace, there is no bar. Also, I was with my mum who couldn't walk far, however the linen company blocked out the use of the lift for more than an hour and refused to make space for her.

It was nice staying with you, we enjoyed the comfy bed and the variety of breakfast options. Everything is close by, shops, station, restaurants…The street is a bit noisy but we didn’t have a trouble falling asleep.

The hotel is quite small, so the rooms are not too spacious but if you're travelling solo or as a couple, you should be fine. Also, the level of comfort may depend on who is staying in the room next to yours because the walls are quite thin and noise travels easily.

This is a very nice, small hotel in great location, just a few minutes from Termini station. The staff is great and takes good care of their guests. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, you will find any type of food you like. I particularly liked the fact that you can easily walk to many main tourist attractions from the hotel.

We enjoyed staying at the Amalfi Hotel. First and foremost the location of this property is amazing , right I front of Santa Maria Maggiore and the square , surrounded by many coffee shops and restaurants, great food options. Hotel is a very old and historic place, very small rooms and bathrooms , but so clean and offers all amenities. You can tell it’s been In The family for many years and they take care of their place really well, they put their heart and soul in making sure guests are taken care of. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were quite good as well for an additional cost , but great!

Bathroom shower cubicle was too small but overall it was manageable.

Breakfast was great and staff (John?) was excellent and very helpful! He even started breakfast earlier for us so we could catch our train. Location was good, close to Termini. Check in was easy. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and they delivered our luggage to our rooms.

The only thing I could say that is negative is the size of the shower. Not sure they could make it any bigger though but quite difficult to use.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was lovely, its location very central (only 5-10 min walk away from the metro) and the attention to detail was incredible. The room had everything I needed, the bathroom (and shower) was also great.

Very small room. Chinese puzzle to access luggage or walk past roommate. Evidently built in 1880s, so that explains. Shower controls/layout dumb.
