Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandAntica Corte Pallavicina Relais is a castle-like property with so many delights to offer. The Museum of Culatello is worth a visit to learn not only about Culatello but also the region. The room was clean and cosy and the staff very attentive and helpful. But the highlight was of course the Michelin star restaurant, which was an absolute delight. Even the breakfast was made by the same team. So definitely worth the trip.

AustraliaBe sure to have aerogard if you are prone to getting bitten by mosquitos if you plan on going for an evening or morning stroll like we did.
It was a great change of scenery and an awesome experience to get away from the main touristy places in Italy and experience the authenticity of Antica Corte Pallavincia. The restaurant was amazing and although a little pricy, it was so worth it.

South KoreaBeautiful tranquil accommodation in the countryside with tastefully decorated rooms with all amenities plus lovely views. Two wonderful restaurants with different styles of menu. The food in both was outstanding with well accompanied wines. The service was exceptional with attentive staff. The cooking lesson was so much fun. I would highly recommend it, plus you get to eat the food! We used the bikes available on the premises and went riding on the Food Valley Bike loop for about 30 KM in total. Lovely scenery and eateries along the path. A truly wonderful experience, and we would love to return. We enjoyed it so much.

United States of AmericaI hated leaving
This place is one hour out of Milan and I highly recommend it as a starting point or a finishing point for your travels. Beautiful farm restoration into a hotel and restaurant. Very top notch at a reasonable price. I dare one to do better. There is a museum and cellar that should not be missed. It is the real deal. Medieval feeling, as it should since it was built in the 1200's. I can't say enough positive about the whole experience. The restaurant alone is worth the trip.

United States of AmericaThe aroma of curing Culatello takes some getting used. Until I realized that the pigs blaster stuff meat product aging in the basement was the source of the smell, I thought something was terribly wrong with the building.

Polandbreakfast in the osteria is nice but there is a bit too mich hassle with asking the cook to hand out the bread, pastries and hams. they say it is self service but it is not and becomes an unnecessary nuisance but the food is great and the staff is also very helpful
incredible atmosphere of a medieval court adopted for contemporary purposes. very helpful and accomodating staff. and the restaurant…. it is the atmosphere and the food that make it really special but the staff is also very unassuminga and accomodated our special requests that were not quite in line with the restaurant’s concept or menu. for more cost efficient options there is also and osteria supervised by the same chef but with mor common food which is also great.

United KingdomThe staff need to have better social skills (and they need to smile a little)and have some more training. It is not obvious where you enter the hotel or restaurant . We were told off for entering the restaurant at the staff entrance! At Breakfast was there was only a very young boy who didn’t know how to deal with the customers. It’s a shame because so much is fantastic!
The room was lovely. The attention to detail in restoration is very good. The sheets were what you get in 5 star hotel

RomaniaThe main reason why I booked this location was to experience staying in a castle, and I'm happy that my experience was beyond expectations. The room facilities are as updated as they need to be -- to give plenty of comfort while maintaining the atmosphere of another era. Because the basement is filled with culatello meats left to mature, there's a smell which may bother some we didn't find it bothering at all. The two restaurants on location, and the one which is a couple of hundreds of meters away which is owned by the same business are very good.

ItalyI didn't find anything to polish my shoes.. a very small issue but since there is a lot of mud in the vicinity I woyld recommend to add a shoe sponge in the rooms (or maybe there was one and I just didn't find it?)
The charm of the property, the staff was very friendly and whine and whiskey was kindly offered to us in the cozy lounges. The fire place in the hall, very romantic The structure is very old, but well kept and renovated. Some people will like it while others won't, it was ok for me, part of its charm. The restaurant, with one michelin star, not too expensive and everything we tasted was very good!

ItalyWhile the Hosteria del Maiale restaurant is impeccable, the housekeeping is not up to scratch. The spaces between windows and mosquito nets in bedrooms seem not to be taken care of regularly, and turn into bugs’ cemeteries. Some of the bedrooms’ devices are too noisy and spoil the quiet of the countryside. That is unfortunate ... I would give 10 points otherwise.
Shaped as a fortified building, located in the floodplain of the Po river and complemented by good restaurants of high quality and traditional local cuisine, Antica Corte Pallavicina is definitely a unique and must go place for anyone in love with nature and farming traditions.

France- arrival to the property a bit confusing (parking, where to go) - initially no one at reception
- quiet area, truly surrounded by nature - real farm, with cows around - rustic charm, with all expected amenities and confort - property renewed with all confort, but maintaining its authenticity - very welcoming hosts, almost feels like at a friend’s place
