I didn't actually stay here but the accommodation was booked for my wedding band and photographer and both gave the breakfast 10/10! The accommodation was really comfortable and the staff were super helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend to family and friends :)

There could be more variety in breakfast food. We stayed for a week and every day breakfast options were the same. Even though, food was delicious.

The location is perfectly situated if you would love to explore beautiful cities of Tuscany. You have around 40 mins to both Livorno and Pisa and 1h to Florence. Whole building is well-kept and beautifully designed. You can find carefully curated selections of different artworks and antiques inside, which make one-of-a-kind experience. Staff is very friendly as well and happy to give recommendations. Zamira was very helpful with her food recommendations in Palaia as well as some suggestions regarding seaside places to visit.

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautifully decorated. My room had a view of the town’s bell tower. I highly recommend the location.

A car is recommended, because the city is not big and further away from other spots. Plan your activities and places to eat, there is not much choice on site (especially for lunch).

The hotel is very beautiful, the historical heritage has been carefully preserved and every detail has been thought out! The room was also unique and comfortable. We came with our car, the hotel also provides parking. A perfect spot for leisure holidays! :)

Very polite people, always making sure we were fine. Breakfast buffet (sweet and salty) with home made sweets. Tables inside and outside. The house is very beautiful and artsy.

We only spent one day in this nice small town and the accommodation itself was mesmerising and just unbelievable. It was full of antiques just like if we would have fallen into the accent history of Tuscany. The walls the doors the decorations and the building itself. Fantastic! It is modernised in places that is needed for instance every room has air conditioning which works really quietly but everything is perfect just like a normal hotel. The breakfast was great a lot of options to choose from with a buffet table. You could eat your breakfast inside the hotel or outside in the beautiful garden. In the description of the accommodation we didn’t notice that there is private parking but indeed there was one which was completely defended with fences. We also have to give a feedback of the lady who met us there in the hotel and takes care of the building. For a long period of time(30 years) we are going to Italy every year for vacation or just for a few days trip but we remember such a welcome. A very kind and nice lady who pays attention to everything and is really open and cheerful was welcoming us as the owner of the accommodation. We are really happy that we got to know you and thank you for everything. We will for sure come back, into our beloved Italy and Tuscany.

I did not like I did not stay for longer.

Loved the whole thing! Such a relaxing and picturesque area. Definitely a place to disconnect and just enjoy the time you are there. Great location if you want to do day trips to Volterra, San Gimigliano, even Florence is an hour away. Great staff and attention. Truly a great place, too great to pass.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Tuscany. It served as a perfect base for day trips to Firenza, Pisa, Sienna. The whole place is built in an old mansion and it is an amazing place to stay and experience. Hotel has an old charm and it is perfectly clean and tidy. The hosts are always available for any inquiries and are super nice. And their sweet breakfast in the garden was perfect to start the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Location of the hotel was in the center of Palaia. We only booked the hotel for 1 night, so we did not really used the facilities of the hotel. However, we loved how friendly the lady was upon check-in and during check-out. The room was cozy and had a really big balcony.

An unusual, delightful place. It takes you several centuries back and you feel like traveling back in time. Zamira shows you around the rooms of the 18th century house and points out interesting AUTHENTIC artifacts, paintings and crafts. And in the morning, when you eat a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast, portraits of old masters look at you from the walls... We appreciated Zamira's recommendation for a restaurant where we had a lovely dinner. Thanks again, Zamira. We would love to come back and stay longer.

You can feel the history and spirit of the building situated in a small quiet town almost in the middle of Toscany. A receptionist was very kind and helpful. Equipment and rooms bring you into atmosphere of old castles and chateaux. Pisa, Firenze, Siena and other nice places are not too far.

Everything was amazing, location, hotel, the lady at the reception was so nice. There are several excellent restaurants around the hotel. We will definitely come back! :)
