Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast - except for butter, all other things were not fresh but pre-packed. One would expect fresh croissants in Italy. None the less, it’s a 2 star hotel so one shouldn’t expect much.
Does what it says on the tin. Clean rooms. Don’t expect big things. Friendly and helpful stuff.

Some problems with WiFi. Breakfast: Coffee OK, but croissants in plastic. Plenty of other options in the neighbourhood, though.
Good value for money. Big bathroom. Spacious bedroom. Tram stop just outside.

No lift but lovely "Art deco" type building and wide stairs. Breakfast is self service small/basic but adequate.
Nice large clean rooms with big bathroom. No shower just shower head into a bath that is not perfect but manageable.

Good location close to trams, easy access to the metro, rooms cleaned daily and towels changed. Nice staff very helpful. Tasty breakfasts.

1.Super terrible breakfast. We have eaten there once only. 2. Very small rooms. 3. Totally destroyed and small balcony. 4. No elevator and no help from the staff with the extra heavy luggages (our room was on the second floor). 5. No empathy and hospitality during check out. We decided to wait 2hrs and none gave us even glass of water...

I missed normal bread and fruit tea at breakfast.
I found everything, what I expected. Air condition, clean bathroom and hotel direct at tram stop without extra noise.

It was located far from the city center and Milan Central Station , we have to reach them by bus or metro. The breakfast buffet has only croissants and sweets nothing else . The fridge and the AC didn’t work . It is a good choice if you stay only for 1-2 nights and you are on a budget.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfrotable.

Very loud when the windows were open.
Easy to get to the city and the tram was right there! Breakfast was easy and grab and go!

Although there os a tram passing near, the connection with the cwnter is not really efficient. The shower space is very narrow. The cleaning staff opened our door twice without knocking. No elevator.
The hotel is ok. The building is old but nice. It is a basic two star.

The window roller was always closed and couldn't open.
The hotel had a really vintage vibe and a sufficient breakfast. The staff was really kind. Also, it was very close to tram station.

The pillows was not comfy, the walls in our room need some painting, and a good deep cleaning in the bathroom. But it doesn't disturb us, because we spent most of our time walking in the city.
Staff very attentive, good location close to transports and 15min by tram from centre of the city, cafes and pharmacy close.

In general is good if you use just like a base and you stay out for all the day... not good if you want spend time in the room. Not may lights in the room and common areas
Bathroom quite good: quite large room with all the requirements. Breakfast is really the base: good cappuccino but no fresh food Room: clean and enough big but all the furniture style is very very old

Hotel is a bit dark but the room was well lit. It was also a bit hard to communicate because some staff only spoke Italian but they were very patient and accommodating.
Room size was massive. Breakfast is basic but the coffee was great. Good location, very close to tramline and shops. They also had smart TV were we could watch our favorite YouTube channels from our country.

There weren't duvet covers, just ordinary sheet for the duvet which is not very comfortable. It was not very clean. Poor breakfast.
Nice parking. Good location - a little bit away from the city center, but it takes 10 min by tram and trams are very often and the stop is just in frint the hotel.
