눉This is definetly an ok Hotel, but we find that the 9.1 score it currently holds on Booking is not well earned. We got a quite cold reception on arrival. The guy started by informing us that the indoor pool was not for our kids aged 2 and 5. Kids over 6 could access the pool between 10-12 and 15-17 daily. I don't think the majority of the guests hang around at the hotel during daytime when in Rome. Also the pool would be 15 euro per person and day since we had the "white key instead of the "brown one". We were second class guests. Explaing that we had actually made a last minute reservation much because of the indoor pool and bad weather coming in, the guy said we would have to sign some paper that we would replace anything the broke while in the pool area. He then continued to say that access outside of the stipulated times 10-12 and 15-17 was out of the question (without us asking). I think most parents would readliy take on responsability for things their kids break. (I also failed to find any fragile items in or around the pool when visiting it the next day). Of course we rather refrained from using the pool if the kids were not welcome. We also found the breakfast buffét to be more of quantity than quality, and not matching the nice framing of the hotel. The same goes for the evening buffet (which we only had once)
눇The staff in the Bar / A la carte - restaurant were very nice. So were the cleaning staff. Nice, new facilities. We also liked the collection of art and sculptures.
