Essentially a hostel with private rooms marketed as hotel rooms. As a result of its younger vibe it is quite noisy untill late at night - internally from the echoey stairs and halls as guests come and go from their rooms to the bar area and from outside as people congregate on the pavement.

A good spot for a short stay with kids - a rare treat to get a double and two singles in one room. Great location, close to transport and all the major attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the communal facilities and bar area were very cool.

This is not a hotel, it is most like a hostel. It would be good they mention that in the description, since it is clearly not a place to go with elders or very young kids. At nights it is very loud since there is party every night at the bar (that is also the reception). Breakfast was super expensive for what actually was.

It was called Hotel and our room was like a hotel room but it is also an hostel and not clearly mentioned. The breakfast was weak - good for students and not very clean. Expensive for this set-up.

I was pretty happy all the way around. Good location. Helpful staff. A welcome drink. What's not to like?

The staff was wonderful, helpful, and fun. I happened to arrive the day they were celebrating their first anniversary, so there was a party near my room, which was a bit noisy. This wasn't a problem on the second night. This hotel is cheerful and combines the old with the new. It was a happy experience, even though I couldn't figure out how to use the air conditioning remote. If you have any questions, be sure to ask the staff. They will find the answers.

There is a hostel in the same building, on the floor below us. Sometimes it was very noisy as young drunk people were up late. We had to ask them to be quiet at 3am on 2 occasions.

Staff were great, room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The beds were very comfy. Good value for money. Very nice location!

Half of property is a hostel (didn’t know that in advance). Room heating was nonexistent. wet towels only changed once in 5 days.

It wasn't as quiet as I expected, because of young people coming home late at night loughing and talking loud. Not so often anyway.

The staff was great. The hotel was definitely worth the money the ask for. The location is also great if you are a tourist.

really need to be told it’s part of a hostel. it’s very misleading, although we had our own rooms this is essentially a hostel. air conditioning didn’t work in either of the 2 rooms nor the tv. the shower in 1 of the rooms was either freezing or boiling

To start off with, we were not aware that the backpackers hostel is part of the hotel. We were originally given a room with the communal kitchen right outside our door. We complained and the room was changed. The shower was tiny, the furniture and bedding and towels have seen better days.

Not much to be honest. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
