Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Suberb! Very cosy house and lovely room! Breakfast which will please every taste (salty and sweet) Friendly & Welcoming host ! Easy access from the airport by bus ( 10’)

It was only a bit noisy being next to the street in the morning and not very dark despiste the curtains.. so I recommend earplugs and eye cover!
The place and room were very nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast! It was simple and diverse, including homemade cake :) I would perhaps add some muesli, but I had my own to enjoy with the yogurt. The host Pier was also very nice.

On first glance this was a very hectic location but in fact it was excellent. The actual property has been renovated in a very clean modern style. The resident manager is extremely helpful and the breakfast is generous. A great option for the city without being expensive.

Steps inside up to the property, but obviously, nothing can be done about that
Great location next to the train station. Breakfast was good. Friendly welcome and always available if needed.

Stairs not easy if you have heavy luggage, no lift.

Our room was close to the kitchen and was quite loud when guests were leaving the b and b early one morning. There aren't really any soft furnishings to absorb the noise.
We loved La casa di Pier for the location. Our room was super clean and the breakfast was brilliant. We also really liked the owner who was polite and helpful.

The street is very busy with cars if you're need perfect silent to sleep it's going to be a slight problem, but you get use to it.
Location is 5 min away from Centre. Clean room breakfast was enough, Free Parking around the building in white lines only. Blue you need to pay.

We would have liked to have some more tourist information. But everything else was perfect :)
We had a pleasant stay in Olbia at La Casa di Pier. The host Guiseppe is very friendly and caring. We had a nice room which was very comfortable. There is a decent breakfast every morning. The location is perfect: a 1 minute walk from the bus and trainstation, so you can easily travel to all beaches around by public transport. You can also walk to the centre of Olbia in 5 minutes.

The lighting in the room is a bit dark.
The room is just at the crossing of a train road to downtown, very good location. The breakfast is very delightful, the old gentleman who helped us is super nice and helpful.

The shower is unfortunately too narrow.

Our room was right behind the kitchen so when the breakfast was served it was quite loud. It wasn’t a huge issue for us because we were up early, but if you like a sleep in, I would suggest requesting another room.
La casa di Pier is SO close to all the public transport in Olbia so it was the perfect place to base ourselves for the week. The room was spacious, clean and exactly as advertised with plenty of room in the shower and bathroom. The air conditioner and WiFi were great and the breakfast in the morning was a lovely touch.

Easy to reach by airport bus which costed 1 euro. Busstop just outside on the corner. Late check in worked perfect. Next morning breakfast was ready and I could take the bus back to airport to pick up the car😊

Excellent well appointed very clean room on the corner of the buildings first floor. A very clean building throughout indeed, including the breakfast terrace. Breakfast was a buffet that was always kept well stocked. the location is a few minutes walk from the Rail Station and even closer to the new Railway Station that is partially opened. A large number of bus services route and have stops nearby. We enjoyed a good nights sleep every night. the location is a couple of minutes walk to the main street that leads down to the waterfront along with all the eating, ice cream, shops and restaurants. The narrow lanes off the main street lead to even more eating places.

The apartment was very light and airy. The location was great to reach the harbour and the old town. Parking was available in the streets close by. Staff responded to meet us when we arrived.

The great location comes with traffic noise. Also there isn't a lift so less mobile guests may struggle with the stairs.
Great location close to the centre of Olbia. Exceptionally clean and a delicious continental breakfast. As we arrived late at night the owner sent us clear instructions how to get on etc.

We liked everything.
Easy to reach by bus from airport; in local, friendly area close to station/lots of bus routes; less than 10 minutes pleasant walk to tourist areas; easy check in, lovely spacious, light room with good shower/toilet; very helpful staff, good breakfast, highly recommended.
