Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Considering the location it’s probably expected but the street noice was quite loud, but it would get better after around mindnight. There was also some construction going on upstairs that added additional noice.
Location was excellent - so close to everything from the train station to all the galleries and main attractions. Rooms were super clean and maintained daily as well - for me it was important. The bathroom is a bit small but manageable. Front desk service was great as well.

Lack of view however it was not a deal breaker at all.

Perfect location, very helpful staff and a large room with lovely windows. The breakfast buffet at their partner restaurant was perfect with many choices and excellent coffee to start your day. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Florence!

The elevator was too narrow but it is a plus of course in an old building.
The location was great, the room was clean and includes all you need. The water and little biscuits were also a nice surprise.

Poor Wi-Fi connection inside the room. One has to come out or open the window to browse the internet TV remote didn’t work in both the rooms

Great location and good price for somewhere so central. Was in florentine house and we enjoyed watching the people outside getting ready for their day in the morning before heading out ourselves.

The entrance was a little difficult to find.
Excellent location and comfortable beds. Large window with Juliet balcony where we could watch the world go by but with very effective double glazing which shut out most of the street noise when closed.

Everyone was very accomodating and we didnt realize how close to the Duomo we really would be. We will be back. I even loved the color of our room, purple!

When you enter to the property there is a very awful smell for the first couple of floors

A little bit high price
İt has a very close location history sites. İts in central location. The location and interior design of the house make you feel like you're part of history too. The staff's approach was very good. The room layout and cleanliness were excellent. We were very satisfied. It's recommended for accommodation.

It's busy street with tourists outside the building. And the city cleaning crews might be noisy in the early morning. however, we did still sleep well.
It's a very close walk to all attractions and Central Market. If we get tired, we can return to our room anytime. A lift is a plus. And the parking garage is nearby. Taking a short walk to Breakfast location is not bad, especially in the early morning hours you can take pictures of Duomo and Baptistry without tourists. We'd definitely come back if visited Florence again.
