This hotel was a highlight of all the places we stayed over three weeks in Europe. Wonderful location and charming and artistic design in the hotel. The beds were so comfortable!! Staff were very sweet and out a lot of love into the space and daily breakfast.

Maybe eggs or pancakes for breakfast. Oats were not great. A fridge in the room would have been great. The lift was VERY slow and felt a bit scary. Hand towels were missing.

Great stay, in a cozy and beautiful space, very tastefully decorated! It is near the city centre, and everything is within walking distance. We really enjoyed the breakfast served in the common space, as well as the spacious bathroom and the view to the backyard with the fountain. Staff was very nice and helpful as well!

We had a lovely stay in a great location just a few minutes walk from the central square etc. There’s a lift to get your luggage to the top floor where the accommodation is situated. The room was lovely

Everything was fine, the only thing that bothered us a little bit was that the elevator was terribly slow, but, that definitely cannot be changed.

This is a real boutique hotel with only 4 rooms in a building in the central old town of Bologna. The owner/manager is very kind and helped us with whatever we needed (late check-in, restaurant and taxi reservation). Breakfast is very good, with fruits, cheese, ham, pastries, eggs on demand, everything really fresh. Bed is very comfortable. Can definitely be recommended.

Spacious room and very comfortable bed. Very good double glazing shut out nearly all the street noise. Location was great. Around 15mins walk from town centre and close to bars, shops and restaurants. Lovely breakfast with eggs, pastries, cold meats, cheeses and fruit and very good coffee.

Good location, just a short walk (10-15 minutes) from the Piazza. Bus stops close by, also plenty of good eating places all within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is on the third floor of a palazzo, with nice views over Bologna and to the hills beyond. It has a lot of character, the rooms are spotlessly clean (and cleaned and tidied daily), and the breakfast both typically Italian and very good. It is quiet, so we slept very well. The proprietor was helpful with queries both before and during our stay, for example about how to travel from the station to the hotel ( we took bus no. 11), and about good eating places. All in all, just what we hoped and also good value. Bologna itself is, as expected, a beautiful city, full of treasures, and more than justifying the week we spent there.
