Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Baga Baga is a lovely family run hotel, very relaxing place to stay, spectacular view from our balcony, lovely restaurant and staff were very friendly. Caselesardo is only 5 mins away by car or taxi. Hope to see Bruno again next year.

It’s a very nice hotel. The view, the room, the food and the staff. Very convenient stay. The garden is beautiful as well as the terrace of the room!

The wifi was on and off in our rooms during the entire stay. Staff was trying to help us but I think it probably is just not strong enough.
Great breakfast, great location, gorgeous view and sunset, excellent and friendly staff. Very clean and well groomed. I would go back in a heartbeat. The town is so pretty too, walk up to the castle, it’s worth to visit. Just a great place to be overall. The best restaurant we ate while in Castelsardo was Rocca Ja, literally a minute away from the hotel. Lots of locals eat there, food was excellent!

Multiple extra charges, e.g. for a change of pool towels (6€) or for our dog (5€ per day). The restaurant is pricey and portions are small. We only ate there once and would only recommend it for the view. We also thought that amenities should no longer be given in small plastic bottles. A more environmentally friendly option would be so much better.
Very friendly staff. Excellent cleanliness. As a vegetarian they prepared grilled vegetables for me. Nice and quiet location with beautiful view. Beautifully arranged garden. We had a quiet room, which we appreciated. The bathroom was extremely spacious.

The Michelin restaurant experience in the evening was disappointing
The location and the hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms view was very good and so was the size and the comfort of the room.

Wonderful location overlooking Castelsardo , offering the best food of our Sardegna round trip- authentic sardegna cuisine meets the sophistication of refined cooking ( guide Michelin recommendation) combined with a super friendly service, a pool and cheap big rooms with a view .

Only small niggles- nothing to stop one enjoying your stay: Breakfast could have more variety/options. Maybe small decor update. The access to the pool could be a bit better (now a earthen path through some trees).
Grand views; good restaurant; lovely pool; and mosquito screens which meant you could enjoy the breeze at night. Staff were great. Access road in good nick.

Even though I wasn't lucky with the weather, my staying at Baga Baga was still formidable: the owner are genuinely kind and passionate about sharing a priceless cultural background about Castelsardo and its traditions; the rooms are gracefully furnished and rather wide; the location and the views are perfect and surrounding by lush baga baga bushes. All in all, a great solution for your stay in Castelsardo!

- I wouldnt recommend their restaurant unless you are into fancy restaurants. We were not able to find a menu online/in the hotel. The sign says restaurant/pizzeria but it is definitely not a pizzeria and main course prices start at eur 18
+the pool area looks lovely +great view over Castellsardo. Too far to walk into the town so you definitely need a car, but the view especially at night is great +spacious and clean rooms

The place is a little tired , and the breakfast system is poor , it really needs looking at , surely a buffet with some items on offer to order would be far better. And no traditional tea available at all

The bees during breakfast! We stayed for a whole week and were disappointed that we could not enjoy breakfast out on the porch because of the bees. We felt the hotel did not do a good job at managing the bees - even with the bee traps, we constantly had 6-8 bees on our table and around the food so we had to eat inside with no views and no breeze. Also we expected a "buffet-style" breakfast per description on booking, but upon arrival were told they no longer do this because of "COVID", so everyone needs to fill out a paper sheet with their food selections everyday for them to get ready for the next day. Food was basic but pleasant (limited variety)... just something to keep in mind!
TOO MANY TO LIST - view, comfort, privacy, pool, service, proximity to Castelsardo, parking! This was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We did a lot of day trips around Sardinia throughout our week stay and it was awesome to come back to comfy beds and amazing air conditioning. The pool area is private and everyone is respectful and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Breakfast area had alot of wasps that seem to love eating pork
Bruno the host was exceptional, we had a few mishaps with car rental and he sorted us out with in minutes at no benefit to himself. true gentleman.. place was very clean and room was big compared to other hotels i have stayed at.

The way from our room to the swinning pool was not good. Breakfast was covid: we must give a list what we want to eat in the morning. But when we need something else or more , they brought it friendly en immediatly
We had a room on the first floor with a beautifull view on the sea en the old part of castelsardo: splendid. Restaurant was excellent. Specially the viewpoint and the setting to see the sunset was exciting. The staff was very friendly
