We only stayed one night and our toilet broke during the night so until we checked out we had to use the restaurant toilet downstairs. Inconvenient but these things cannot be helped. No compensation (monetary) was offered. Our room was on 2nd floor with a window to the main street and was a little noisy during the night and early morning.

Good central location right near the main entrance to the city. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were lovely.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, only wish I could stay for longer.

Obviously the location is fabulous. 2 minutes from the bus stop. The most spectacular view. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room with everything you need.

Exceptional Tuscan country side view . Mine was a family room hence more spacious , only draw back was less English tv /activity at night. Special mention goes to the gracious lady who served our breakfast , a gem of a person who truly made our Tuscan experience

Garage parking required keys to get and return

Location easy to park and get to property, had to get key and repark below in typical tight European fashion , but great staff , able to check in early due to season and room ready slightly early but was prepared to store bags , excellent breakfast

Main parking place is usually full (no vehicles are allowed in the village) so you might have to walk about 1km of uphill (so leave the luggages there first)

Perfect location, very close to the main piazza and to the village's entrance. If within budget, highly recommend booking a room with a view looking at the valley, absolutely breath-taking!

Charming hotel right near the main gate to Sam Gimignano. Great staff, amazing breakfast. Awesome restaurant with views of the Tuscan country side.

Receptionist not always present which was awkward when we arrived and no one around. Eventually someone came. This happened twice.

Ceiling lighting was bright, bathroom fans noisy, fan over bed only had one speed and it was too fast.

Great place to stay in San Gimignano. It's a beautiful facility with great staff, service and location. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great bed, towels and shower. Breakfast was very good. Parking directions were excellent.

there was some misunderstanding with payment but that was quickly resolved, once I reviewed my paperwork. It seems some hotels take payment before you visit whilst this one you had to settle after your stay.

the view was exceptional and the room although small was perfect for our needs. it was located in a great position in the town. The friendliness of the staff, especially at breakfast was wonderful. I would certainly visit again, but next time stay for 2 nights.

What a wonderful experience! Staying within the walls of this medieval town was amazing. Our view from the terrace off our room was spectacular. It looked like a page from a fairy tale setting. Breakfast was wonderful! Highly recommended!

Didn’t like mosquitos which are around the area so bring your repellent. The hotel was very good about giving us a plug in mosquito repellent. The room was fine if you did not keep the doors open at night.

The view was excellent. When you entered the hotel you did so right off the shopping area and once in your room you viewed the beautiful Tuscan area in the back. There was a lovely seating area for us to sit and enjoy. Loved the breakfast. It was outstanding. The restaurant was a bonus.. We did not eat there but having a restaurant on the premises was great.

The window catch didn’t work well so opened a couple of times during the night which meant we had a noisy night! Bathroom a bit old.

Great location just inside Porto San Giovanni. Reception staff very friendly, lovely decor throughout. Room was smallish but comfortable. Bed comfortable.

Nicely located at the lower end of San Gimignano and steps away from the P2 parking lot. Amazing views from both our room and particularly the restaurant/breakfast room. We had a double room which also had a second bedroom with two twin beds - so extremely spacious room. Bathroom was also nicely sized. Breakfast was very good - you can ask for cooked items such as bacon and eggs - and a couple of cheeses and sliced meats were available along with breads. Photo below is view from Breakfast Room.
