We couldn't think of a better place around Lake Como to relax and spend an unforgettable New Year's Eve. The views are breathtaking! Despite the distance from Como, the house lies at the heart of an enchanting, fairy tale village. The amenities are great. I could happily live in this apartment :-) The cherry on the cake is the kindness of the hosts. They are sweet, welcoming and attentive. I'll not forget this place, and I hope to come back for more. I'm sure thankful for this.

Just worth noting that the two bedrooms are connected together so a few people may find it a bit uncomfortable if you are adults only... but as we were family all was fine for us.

The apartment was fully equipped with everything necessary for a stay with family. The views from the terrace/garden were amazing and there is even a table outside to also enjoy the view while having lunch or dinner. The host was very friendly and accomodating, she even left as a fruit cake on arrival that was made with the kiwis that grow in the garden of the apartment which was incredible! The location is a bit further away from Como city with a few shops and restaurants, but by car you can be in Como in 15 mins or you can even take a boat that takes 40/50 mins (which I totally think it is worth it and was an incredible suggestion from the host too!!) or there's a bus too.

Can’t think of a thing!

Great space, large rooms, air conditioning in bedroom (a must during hot weather). Dining space if wanted, we cooked and ate in twice and kitchen facilities were fab. Attentive hosts if needed but respected our privacy too. Perfect all round.

Location...what an amazing view!! Easy to reach and park but also nice village to walk through. Very friendly welcome, and a pie! Mmmm Enough space for a family of four, with airco for the hot days.

The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The scenery is breathtaking and the pathio is very well equiped for a family vacation. It was verry clean and well furnished. The kitchen is well equiped and ideal to cook. There is also free parking and a bus stop close by. The little attentions where also verry nice. For exemple, tea, coffee, washer and also a map drawn by the owner indicating shop and restaurants close by. Without forgetting the homemade pie that welcomed us on the diner table and the beautiful garden available to us to pick fruits and veggies.

The decor was a little bit old-school but actually we preferred it that it felt homely and had character, and not anonymous / boring like a modern hotel! :) Everything is in good condition so this wasn't an issue at all!

This was a great stay, highly recommend! The location and view is amazing, having parking onsite is really worth it. The host was really kind, easy to communicate and with a personal touch. Everything was super clean and the apartment is well-equipped.

Situation of the bedrooms, second bedroom is accessible from the main bedroom which makes it awkward for 2 couples staying there although there is an outside door from the second bedroom to access the lounge, kitchen and bathroom without going into the main bedroom but it means going outside at night if you need to use these rooms, but undercover.

Scenery from the patio over the lake was beautiful, hostess very friendly, she had baked a tart for us on arrival. Excellent secure parking on site.

The host was extremely helpful the entire time and stayed connected with WhatsApp. This was invaluable as she gave us information to help us transfer from the train to the bus when our car was unavailable. She gave suggestions for day activities and helped us find timetables for the ferries and buses. She helped even arrange a taxi back to the airport to get our car. Her mom had baked us a yummy pie for our arrival as well! The house was clean, beautiful, large enough for our family of 6 and had a beautiful veranda overlooking the lake for meals and lounging. The house was comfortable even in 90 degree heat. A great value for the money, I would definitely recommend staying here!

All is great and the big terrace with a fantastic view was just amazing. Even had a home made tart. Best rental you can probably find on lake Como. You can even walk to the ferry by boat.

There is not any supermarket close by.

Location was great!! Easy to reach for the boat/bus. The owner of the house came to picked us up with her car from Orta San Giulio and she was great!!! We went to the supermarket before we go and did shopping for urgent things. She also found us a driver to drop us to Milan Airport at the end. Since my daughter has a cast now on her arm, we are really happy with the hospitality. I strongly advice you to stay in Bellavita Fossati.
