Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLocated near the Acedemia in a quiet area of Venice, also near the main sights, with a small garden outside the hotel, unusual in Venice.

United KingdomBreakfast was terrible ! Best nip out for a coffee and croissant in one of the many places nearby
Rooms were bigger than you would imagine for Venice and the location was great. I also liked the outdoor garden terrace and the view from my window.

MalaysiaLocation was just a couple of minutes walk from the ferry jetty in a quieter part of town. A small supermarket just across it. And about three minutes walk to the Academia Bridge which will take you to the more touristy part of Venice. A fair breakfast spread and and outdoor dining area in its courtyard. Newly refurbished rooms and bathrooms. Luggage storage area.

It is a nice and well maintained hotel. The position is excellent as it is located just two minutes walking from the Alibus stop (from the airport) Zattere and very close to Accademia Bridge. The hotel has a wonderful garden, which is quite rare in Venice. The room was a bit small and with a small window and quite basic furniture, but the bed was extremely comfy, and it was very clean. The staff is kind and helpful and the breakfast offers a quite good choice of food and beverages.

GermanyRooms were clean but there were somethings that were bothering when we checked in. There is no kettle for hot water, shower had few hair on the walls but everything else was ok. Regarding the Staff: lady from reception seemed to be rude but maybe it's her natural behaviour.
Good location! Rooms are spacious. Staff could be more polite and welcoming.

GermanyThe day I stayed was very over crowned at the breakfast with very big group of student. The breakfast room is very small, when there're a lot of people using the facilities at the same time. I grab my breakfast and looking for the table. It seems like the untidy table was not allow to sit, then I keep searching again, I saw many group of student eating in the reception area at the coffee counter, so I go there and search for the table, but I got a very rude complain from one of the staff at the coffee machine behind the counter at the reception. So I move back to the breakfast area and stand there like I don't know what to do. Many staff in the breakfast area are running around cleaning the table and fill the breakfast, but it seems like no one care to help me out. After that I saw one table looks empty, so I go there and sit then an old Italian couple come to table. It's looks like they sit here before, but they go to pick up a breakfast. However they are very kindly let me join their table. It's very small breakfast room and very unorganized, especially when you're travel alone. I recommend not to pay for breakfast in this hotel, better go to have breakfast somewhere in Venice, will save your stress in the morning better than I had.
The Hotel is in the great location near Ponte dell'Accademia and Ferry Terminal. The room is newly renovate, looks modern than what I saw in pictures. It offers what basic we all need. Overall the facility is very clean.

AustriaOf course a number of things could have been better. But we have to judge a hotel based on the price we pay. In my case it cost me less than 100€ per night. For this rate I was absolutely satisfied.
The location was for my taste excellent. It was away from noisy streets and close to the public boats. The blond lady with the long hair at the reception was one of the nicest people I met in Venice!!

United KingdomThe breakfast room was busy and we had to wait a while to access the buffet.
Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location within walking distance to San Marco, Realto bridge and other key sights. The water bus stops (Zattere and Academia)are also close by which makes it easy to access places further away. The room was very clean and comfortable. The local chichetti bars nearby were great value and fun.

HungaryBreakfast could be with less options but more fresh & local food choice. We found the serving a bit chaotic, as you need to cross everyone to take a plate, then go back to take the food, the same with the drinks. It is not very logical in such a small breakfast room.
Location of the hotel is very central. Main sights and the lovely squares, canals, tiny streets with cosy bars and restaurants are all in walking distance. In just 2 min walking you can find several watertaxi stations which makes easy to do a trip to a different point of Venice or to a different island eg. Murano. The hotel has its charm, especially at the entrance and the outdoor seating area. Our room was super clean. It was not big but had a huge, very comfortable bed and a fully renovated interior including the bathroom.

United KingdomThe breakfast facilities were inadequate when you could not sit outside. One had to wait to be seated. The cleaning took place next to where you were eating, so quite noisy. The thermostat for the air conditioning did not work and the fuse had to removed so as not over heat the room. In the shower please install a shelf to keep gels and shampoo bottles. Please also provide real cups at the sink where toothbrushes, combs Etcetera can be kept.
