The room was quite old and therefore not very welcoming. Someone had smoked in our room, which was quite disgusting. We contacted the owner and they offered us free breakfast and city tax, which was nice. The breakfast was also nice. Still, for one night it was ok, but I wouldn‘t like to stay for longer.

the beds are on the harder side and the pillows could be better . also very limited toiletries (only a little hand wash gel and shower gel left in the containers)

it was easily accessible and the instructions to come in and out were very clear. the rooms are serviceable and have a mini fridge (important when hot outside) as well as a good aircon system that’s not loud.

The rooms were beautiful, but the downstairs entryway was under construction. It is an old Italian villa. We never heard any noise.

Owner was immediately responsive to a problem that we had. She solved it quickly and efficiently to our satisfaction. We were grateful. Nice breakfast!

Lots of stairs up to the rooms. There is a small elevator, but you need to ask to use it. It’s not visible from the entrance. It’s a little noisy from the street noise, but if you keep your windows closed it’s not a problem. The breakfast is not that great.

Great location. Next to a beautiful park. Everything you need within walking distance; restaurants, grocery store, shopping and all the main sites. There’s a beautiful park you can walk through, which leads you to everything.

Our room was near the kitchen and in the morning it was a bit noisy, the breakfast starts from 7:30 am and we couldn’t sleep so much.Our toilet had a problem with the water running.

The place is well placed in the city, you have acces to the city centre very easy.The building is beautiful, old and nice restored.

Online check in did not work and there was no one at the reception when we arrived. It was difficult to enter the room.

It’s very clean and well furnished. Breakfast is great and overall a nice experience.

Hot water comes after a few minutes of running water

I loved the building, the room upgrade, and the cute breakfast, which was even arranged earlier for me because I had an early flight. This is really taking care of the guests. Thank you! EXCELLENT customer service and communication with the host. I really recommend this place!

Wish we had instructions on how to access private elevator during checkin. Many stairs to cart our luggage to second floor.

The BnB was right next to villa Bellini a beautiful park. Easy Walking distance to the center of the city & easy access to train station by bus

I mistakenly thought that breakfast was included in the price but was annoyed to be charged 10 euros per person when the website said 7. We arrived late and so didnt benefit from any information at check in - it was a self check in. Going up all those steps and through all those doors was an adventure late at night...! Could have done with extra pillows and the air conditioning in our room didnt work well, a hot night.

The location was good, we found a street of bars and cafes nearby but next time I think I'd stay nearer the station. The home made jams at breakfast were very nice.

At the moment, because of building work, there is no elevator. Just something to note as the B&B is on the second floor and there are a lot of stairs.

Good location close to the centre of Catania and behind a beautiful park. The room was simple, but very clean and comfortable.

Would be nice to have something other than cereals and pastries at breakfast. We certainly missed the hams, cheeses, eggs and bread we were having in other places.

very central location, easy access to the hussle and bussle of Via Etnea. This flat is a little gem that is locked away from the busy, dusty city and the rest of the building that needs a lot of work. Lovely decor, fresh, clean and bright, comfortable rooms and good windows to shut out the noise of the busy road. Despite the other reviews, it does now have a working lift! Pretty terrace to have breakfast on or spend the day reading your book. Very attentive and pleasant host. She very kindly agreed to hold our room until midday (we had vacated by then) to ensure our flight wasn’t cancelled and we weren’t left stranded (like we were on our way to Sicily!). That did take a lot of stress off.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Very welcoming host, great location to access main sights and centre. Lovely terrace and delicious breakfast with lots of homemade cakes and pastries.

Bathroom was not super clean. A bit of mold around it. Toilet flush was hard to push but was working regardless.

Fair Value/Price. You get an apartment with all facilities for a good price. A bit far from the main street of Catania (Via Etnea) but closer to the train station. Catania is small, so not a big problem to walk. Breakfast was reasonable if you are not very picky, Terrace has good view for breakfast.

The room is a bit outdated and due to construction work on the building we couldn't use our balcony.

The price quality of the B&B and the location were good. They installed an elevator which was completed on the last day of our stay and even though we couldn't use it, it is a good improvement as there are quite a bit of stairs.

Really noisy neighborhood!! Our room was facing the inner courtyard and we heard someone yell almost the entire night, didn't sleep well at all! No lift and on the second floor, but 8 stairs to climb... quite a struggle when you have big suitcases / are old.

Good location in the city center. Owner is really helpful. Breakfast was good (hot beverages, yogurt, fruits, cereals, pasteries,...) Quite a beautiful old building.

The B&B had a good location, the room was small but very tidy and in good condition. The host, Loredana, was extremely friendly and helpful. It was better than what we expected to have for this price.

Nothing, great value for money.

Everything was perfect, the team is super welcoming and they gave us great tips to visit Catane (and super places to eat !). The breakfast on the terraze was amazing, all homecooked. Many thanks for this short stay.
