Not one thing.

Absolutely outstanding on every level. The facility, the view over the Arno, a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio. The breakfasts were amazing. Most of all though- the incredible staff- attentive, anticipating every possible need, could not have asked for anything better. Truly the best hotel experience of our lives- we will absolutely be back.

Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Central location on Ponte Vecchio, I was able to explore all the sightseeing attractions on foot. Train station also reachable on foot in 15 minutes.

Location, quirky, good sized hotel with great features-for eg, purple marble in toilets on ground floor. loved our room which had river view. good sized room. plenty of quirks. cleaned everyday. great toiletries. laundry service.

Parking is in some remote place and you don't have access to your car(you need to wait around 30 min when you need your car)

Facilities were adequate, but not quite up the standard I would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. Despite the beauty of the interior, some aspects were dated (bathroom layout and facilities) and some bits missing (no tea making facilities in the room.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic and the view spectacular. Breakfast was plentiful and the general feel was good. The bed was comfortable and the windows opened.

Heating only which made room uncomfortable on a couple of days and couldn’t leave the windows open to cool due to Mosquitoes accessing thru window as no fly/mosquitoes screens

We enjoyed our entire 3 day stay

Great location with stunning views from our river side room. Clean and spacious room with a king bed and sitting table for coffee. The tile in the bathroom was beautiful and everything was spotless. The front desk was very helpful in getting us a private driver to get to Cinque Terre and Claudius in the bar was so fun to talk to - and he makes a great drink!

The hotel prides itself in tradition, and rightly so. Maybe one thing to modernise though would be the room keys: leaving the heavy key at the reception or carrying it around is not ideal.

This is the best hotel we've stayed in anywhere in Italy over the last 25 years. It takes everything to perfection, even (still!) offers free newspapers. Breakfast, the bed (including linen), the roof terrace, and of course the location were all perfect!

Room is a bit dated, could do with some refresh.

Great location along the Arno. Was easily able to go to usual tourist places to see on foot from the hotel. Room size is quite good for the area. I chose it as I wanted to try a hotel that is not too cookie-cutter and had some Italian personality compared to usual chains.

No complaints at all. Everyone I encountered was professional, polite and very helpful. When next in Florence I will stay there again.

Bath rooms are so tiny and the first room where I stay, an individual room, was not nice.

Location is quite well and balanced considering all the place one uses to visit in town. Good breakfast in a nice dinning room and kind staff. Larger rooms are very nice. Front desk staff is ready to help at any time, but Alice is simply outstanding! She makes your stay better.

Getting to the hotel with the ZTL (limited access zone old city) is a mess and still not sure we won't be getting fines.

Location is the best one can ask for (steps away from Ponte Vecchio) Room size, very helpful staff (Grazie Mille), hotel terrace is a great place for breakfast coffee or night drink.
